Stake and BC.Game both launched in 2017, both run on crypto and both have provably fair in-house games. They differ sharply on bonuses, coin range, VIP access and licensing. Here is how they compare line by line, and which one fits your way of playing.

Stake is the cleaner rulebook: a 1x deposit wager, published fees per coin, a VIP ladder anyone can climb and a full set of self-service limits. BC.Game is the bigger playground: more than 165 coins, a lobby it puts at 10,000+ games and a four-step welcome bonus, paired with a 45x rollover and an invitation-only VIP Club. Both are sportsbooks as well as casinos, and both block players from the US, the UK and much of western Europe. License and ownership

Stake's terms name Medium Rare N.V. as owner and operator under Curaçao Gaming Authority license OGL/2024/1451/0918, with some payment processing through two Cypriot subsidiaries. The brand also runs separately licensed local sites in Brazil, Colombia and Mexico, and players from those countries are not accepted on stake.com itself.

BC.Game is operated by Twocent Technology Limited of Belize under an Anjouan license. The Anjouan public register lists it as valid, issued on 2 October 2024 with an expiry date of 1 October 2026, days after our check. Look the number up yourself before a large deposit to confirm the renewal. Both licenses are lighter frameworks than a UK or Swedish one, so in practice the terms you accept are your main protection.

Welcome offer and bonus terms

This is where the two part ways. Stake does not run a classic match. You enter an affiliate or referral code within 24 hours of sign-up and get rakeback of 3.5% of the house edge right away. On $10,000 of spins on a slot with a 96% RTP, the edge is $400 and your rakeback is $14, win or lose. Some codes attach a deposit bonus instead; Stake's own example is $100 plus $100 at 30x, so $6,000 of wagering, and you cannot withdraw while that requirement is active.

BC.Game's First 4 Deposit Bonus, in the latest full version we could read, pays 120% up to $500, 100% up to $300, 150% up to $500 and 100% up to $300, each with 100 free spins. The rollover is 45x on deposit plus bonus within 30 days. Deposit $100 on the first step and you get $120, so $220 x 45 = $9,900 of eligible slot play. At a 96% RTP the expected cost of that play is about $396, more than the whole balance, and the most you can unlock is 200% of the bonus. Free spin wins are capped at $10. Bottom line: BC.Game offers more money up front with a heavy rollover; Stake offers less up front with almost no strings.

VIP and rakeback

Stake's VIP Club is an open ladder. Bronze starts at $10,000 wagered, and levels climb through Silver, Gold, six Platinum ranks and five Diamond ranks to Obsidian at $1,000,000,000. Sports bets count three times toward progress. Rewards include rakeback, weekly and monthly bonuses, and from Platinum, reloads that become permanent from Platinum IV while you stay active.

BC.Game's VIP Club is by invitation after its team reviews your activity. Its own blog sets rakeback at 5% of the house edge at VIP 14 to 21, 7% at 22 to 29, 10% at 30 to 37 and 15% from 38. Those rates beat Stake's 3.5% starting point, but you have to be invited and reach level 14 first.

Payments and withdrawal speed

Stake takes more than 20 coins on specific networks, with no maximum deposit and no maximum withdrawal. Fees are published per coin, for example 1.00 USDT with a 2.50 minimum, or 0.00001571 BTC. Every deposit must be wagered 1x before a cash-out. Crypto usually arrives within minutes and typically within about an hour, though large withdrawals may be held for manual processing. Card deposits and bank transfers work in selected local currencies.

BC.Game supports more than 165 coins, a QR-code deposit flow and an in-wallet swap. Its FAQ says blockchain transactions usually confirm in 5 to 10 minutes, your deposit needs at least 3 confirmations before you can withdraw, and the network fee is shown before you confirm. The terms call published times indicative, and checks on identity, source of funds or wallet ownership can pause a payout. On paper BC.Game is faster; in practice both are quick once your account is clean.

Games and provably fair Originals

Stake's lobby of 3,000+ titles leans on big studios such as Pragmatic Play and Hacksaw Gaming, with a dedicated bonus buy list. Stake's terms list 45 prohibited jurisdictions, among them the US, the UK, Australia, Germany, France, Brazil and Mexico. BC.Game bars the US, the UK, Australia, Austria, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau, plus FATF blacklist countries. Using a VPN breaches both rulebooks.

Both can ask for documents at any time. Stake wants ID valid for at least 3 more months, proof of address from the last 6 months and possibly a selfie. BC.Game can add proof of crypto wallet ownership and source of wealth. On limits, Stake is well ahead: daily, weekly or monthly loss and wager limits, deposit limits, breaks from 1 day to 1 month and product exclusions. BC.Game offers a 7 day cooling off period and self-exclusion of at least 6 months through support.

Verdict by player type

• You want simple rules and fast access to your money: Stake. The 1x deposit rule and published coin fees make it the more predictable cashier.
