What Caucasian Wolf is
Caucasian Wolf is a classic-format slot from Onlyplay, released on 4 January 2024. It plays on three reels with three rows and five fixed paylines. Onlyplay's game page lists an RTP of 95.20%, medium volatility and a maximum win of 6,978x the bet. The rules file that the game itself loads in its default build states 95.10%, so the exact figure depends on the version your casino runs; the rules screen shows it.
The theme is a winter legend in the Caucasus mountains. A white wolf stands in front of a snow-covered peak, and the reels carry regional icons such as a ram, a drinking horn, crossed sabers and a pomegranate. The interface shows three jackpot panels, Mini, Major and Grand, which correspond to the golden bonus symbols in the respin round.
How a spin works, step by step
- You set your bet. All five lines are played on every spin, so the bet covers the whole grid.
- The three reels stop and each line is checked from left to right. A win needs three matching symbols across the line.
- The Wild substitutes for every symbol except the Scatter and also pays its own combination of three on a line.
- Only the highest win per line is paid, and all line wins are added together.
- If three Scatters land anywhere on the grid, the Bonus Game starts automatically.
Because the grid is three reels wide, every winning combination is a full row or diagonal of three. There are no partial wins for two of a kind.
Paytable
Onlyplay's demo server sends the paytable to the game client as multipliers of the total bet, and we confirmed the unit with real demo results: at a 0.50 stake, a line with coefficient 2 paid 1.00. Symbol names are not published as text, so the table ranks them from the top.
| Symbol | 3 on a line (x total bet) | At a 1.00 stake |
|---|---|---|
| Wild | 50x | 50.00 |
| Premium 1 | 20x | 20.00 |
| Premium 2 | 15x | 15.00 |
| Premium 3 | 10x | 10.00 |
| Medium symbol | 5x | 5.00 |
| Four low symbols | 2x each | 2.00 |
A full grid of one low symbol would win on all five lines for 10x. Three Wilds across the middle row pay 50x, and Wilds that complete other lines pay the value of the symbol they replace. The Scatter has no line value of its own; its job is the bonus.
The Bonus Game: respins on nine cells
Three Scatters start the Bonus Game, and it always begins with those three bonus symbols on the reels. From here on, only bonus symbols can land. The rules work like this:
- You get 3 respins. Every time a new bonus symbol sticks, the respin counter goes back to 3.
- Each regular bonus symbol shows a value of 0.1x, 0.2x, 0.5x, 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x or 5x the triggering bet.
- Golden bonus symbols carry 10x, 20x or 100x, the Mini, Major and Grand levels shown above the reels.
- When all nine positions are filled, the values are added up, multiplied by the current bonus multiplier and paid.
- After that payout the multiplier doubles, the reels are cleared and a new respin starts automatically.
- When the respins run out, the symbols on the reels are paid with the current multiplier and the bonus ends.
This is a multiplier that grows only through success: x1 for the first full screen, x2 for the second, x4 for the third, x8 for the fourth.
A worked bonus example
Take a 1.00 bet. The bonus starts with three symbols worth 0.5x, 1x and 2x. Over the next respins six more land: 0.2x, 3x, 5x, 0.1x, 1x and a golden 10x. The grid is full, so the round pays 0.5 + 1 + 2 + 0.2 + 3 + 5 + 0.1 + 1 + 10 = 22.8x at multiplier x1, which is 22.80.
The multiplier doubles to x2 and the grid clears. This time four symbols stick, 1x, 2x, 0.5x and a golden 20x, before three empty respins in a row end the bonus. The final payout is (1 + 2 + 0.5 + 20) x 2 = 47.00. Total for the bonus: 69.80, or about 70x the bet. A third full screen would have paid at x4, which shows how quickly the loop can push toward the 6,978x ceiling.
Bonus symbol values at common stakes
Every bonus symbol value is a multiple of the bet that triggered the bonus, so the same symbol is worth very different amounts at different stakes. This table converts the most useful values:
| Symbol value | At 0.50 | At 2.00 | At 10.00 |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0.1x (lowest) | 0.05 | 0.20 | 1.00 |
| 1x | 0.50 | 2.00 | 10.00 |
| 5x (top regular) | 2.50 | 10.00 | 50.00 |
| 10x golden (Mini) | 5.00 | 20.00 | 100.00 |
| 20x golden (Major) | 10.00 | 40.00 | 200.00 |
| 100x golden (Grand) | 50.00 | 200.00 | 1,000.00 |
Remember that these are face values. On the second full screen they are doubled, on the third multiplied by four, and so on.
Rules that are easy to misread
- Values are not paid as they land. A sticky symbol only pays when the grid is full or when the bonus ends. Watching a 100x symbol stick is exciting, but it is paid together with the rest of the screen.
- The multiplier doubles after the payout. The full screen that completes is paid at the old multiplier, and only the next screen benefits from the doubled value.
- The end of the bonus still pays. If the respins run out with, say, five symbols on the reels, those five values are paid with the current multiplier.
- The bet is locked. All bonus wins are calculated on the stake of the spin that triggered the bonus, even if you change the bet menu later.
- An operator cap may apply. The rules state that total winnings from one bet can be limited by a Maximum Win For One Bet amount listed in the game limits.
What the numbers mean for your session
Medium volatility on a three-reel game means frequent small results punctuated by the occasional bonus. The base game tops out at 50x for three Wilds, so most of the long-term value sits inside the respin feature. There is no bonus buy, no ante bet and no free spins round, so the only lever you control is the stake. On the official demo the stake menu runs from 0.50 to 40 EUR; real-money limits are set by the casino and shown in the bet menu.
The RTP is worth a second look. Between 95.10% and 95.20%, it is roughly one percentage point below many modern releases. Over 1,000 spins at 1.00, the expected return differs by about 10.00 compared with a 96.2% game. That gap is small in one session but real over time.
How it compares
If you like wolves and respins, Wolf Gold is the classic five-reel reference with a Money Respin and fixed jackpots. Caucasian Wolf is smaller and faster, with its doubling multiplier as the distinctive twist. For another wolf-themed game on a larger grid, see Dark Wolf. Fans of three-reel formats can also compare Fortune Gems 2, which puts its multiplier on a separate reel instead of in a bonus.
Testing it in the demo
Onlyplay's official demo loads in the block on this page; our demo guide explains how free play works. Useful checks:
- Open the rules and note the RTP of the build you are playing.
- Trigger a few bonuses and record how many full screens you reach.
- Watch how often golden symbols appear compared with regular values.
- Compare your average bonus result with the stake to judge whether the medium rating feels right to you.
Before you play for money, fix a loss limit and a time limit. Every spin is independent, and a long wait for three Scatters does not make the next trigger more likely.

What is the RTP of Caucasian Wolf?

Land three Scatter symbols anywhere on the reels. The Bonus Game starts automatically with those three bonus symbols in place and three respins, which reset to three each time a new bonus symbol sticks.
How does the bonus multiplier work?
The multiplier starts at x1. Each time all nine positions are filled, the values are paid with the current multiplier, then the multiplier doubles, the reels clear and a new respin starts. It goes x1, x2, x4, x8 and so on.
What are the golden bonus symbols worth?
Golden bonus symbols carry 10x, 20x or 100x the triggering bet, matching the Mini, Major and Grand panels. Regular bonus symbols are worth 0.1x to 5x. All values are paid only on a full screen or at the end of the bonus.

No. The only feature is the respin Bonus Game started by three Scatters. There is no free spins round, no bonus buy and no ante bet, so every bonus is earned on the reels.
