What Fortune Gems 2 is

Fortune Gems 2 is the second game in JILI's Fortune Gems series, published in December 2023. JILI describes it as the sequel to an all-time favorite, built to keep the original's straightforward play while raising the top prize multiplier and making the Lucky Wheel easier to reach. The series has since grown further with Fortune Gems 3, Fortune Gems 500 and other titles, but this second edition is where the special reel became a real source of big results.

The layout is compact. Three reels with three rows form the main grid, and five fixed paylines run across them. To the right sits a fourth reel labeled Special Wheel, which holds multiplier values and Wheel symbols instead of gems. JILI lists the special features as Full Symbol, Multiplier and Lucky Wheel, gives a maximum win of 10,000x the bet and rates the volatility as medium, two chillies out of five on the loading screen.

How a spin works, step by step

1. You choose your stake and decide whether to switch on the Extra Bet (the EX button next to the reels).
2. The three main reels spin together with the special reel on the right.
3. Line wins on the 3x3 grid are counted across the five fixed lines. The Wild substitutes to help complete lines.
4. The special reel stops with one position in the middle frame. If it shows a multiplier, that value is applied to your winning lines.
5. If a Wheel symbol stops in that middle frame instead, the Lucky Wheel bonus starts and pays a prize.

That is the entire game loop. There are no cascades, no free spins and no collection meters, so each spin is settled as soon as the four reels stop.

The special reel and its multipliers

The special reel is what separates Fortune Gems 2 from a plain three-reel game. JILI's in-game text promises multiplier points, top 15x, for each winning link. The values visible on the reel in the official screenshots are 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x and 15x, and the Extra Bet text also lists 10x. Only the value that stops in the middle frame counts. Here is a worked example with illustrative amounts, because JILI does not publish the paytable outside the game. At a 1.00 stake, suppose two lines win, one for 0.30 and one for 0.20:

The same two lines can be worth half your stake or seven and a half times it. When you judge a session, remember that most of the swing comes from the special reel, not from the gems.

Full boards

JILI highlights the Full Symbol feature with a simple line: gain great rewards for any full board. When all nine positions of the 3x3 grid show the same symbol, every one of the five lines wins at once, and the result is still multiplied by the special reel. One of the provider's own screenshots shows a grid covered in Wilds with a 15x in the middle frame, which ends in a Super Win banner. The exact payout for each symbol is listed on the paytable inside the game.

The Lucky Wheel bonus

The Lucky Wheel starts when a green or red Wheel symbol lands in the middle of the special reel. A large prize wheel then spins over the reels and stops on one segment, and that amount is paid. JILI's own intro puts it bluntly: win 100% with the Lucky Wheel. Unlike a pick game or a free spins round, there is no outcome in which the bonus returns nothing.

The provider's screenshots show a wheel with small segments right next to very large ones, so the wheel is where the 10,000x ceiling comes into reach. The segments pictured are not identical across JILI's images, so check the wheel at your own stake and mode in the game rather than relying on a single screenshot.

Extra Bet explained

The EX button is JILI's version of an ante bet. The rules are short and clear in the client text:

• The Extra Bet costs an additional 50% of your stake.
• With it active, the special reel only shows multipliers other than 1x, so every line win is multiplied by at least 2x.
• Each Lucky Wheel bonus also receives a random multiplier of 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, 10x or 15x.

A worked example at a 1.00 base stake: with EX on, each spin costs 1.50. The two-line win of 0.50 from the table above can no longer be paid at 1x; the lowest result is 2x, so it pays at least 1.00. If the Lucky Wheel lands on a segment worth 20.00 and the random multiplier comes up 5x, the bonus pays 100.00 instead of 20.00. The cost is certain, the upside is not, so decide whether your budget can carry spins that are 50% more expensive for the same number of rounds.

There is no feature purchase in Fortune Gems 2. If you are used to bonus buys in other games, the Extra Bet is the only way to pay for better odds of a bigger result.

Normal mode versus Extra Bet at a glance

Read the table from the bottom up. The Extra Bet does not raise the top special reel value, which stays at 15x in both modes. What it changes is the floor under ordinary wins and the extra layer on the wheel. Put simply, it moves money from your quiet spins into the moments when the wheel appears. A fixed budget buys a third fewer spins with EX on, so a player with 150.00 gets 150 spins at 1.00 in normal mode but only 100 with the Extra Bet active.

RTP, volatility and max win

JILI confirms a 10,000x maximum win and a medium volatility rating. It does not publish the RTP, the bet range or the paytable on its website. The RTP may also differ between the normal mode and the Extra Bet mode, so read the info screen of the exact version you play, in both modes, before you draw conclusions.

Fortune Gems 2 is built for players who want quick decisions and a clear view of what each spin can do.
