What Monstroland is
Monstroland is a three-reel, three-row slot from Endorphina, announced on 8 October 2026 in time for Halloween. The provider lists an RTP of 96.06%, High volatility, five fixed paylines, a bet range of 0.05 to 100 EUR and a maximum win of 3,100x the bet.
The theme borrows from old monster films. A Vampire, the Monster and the Mummy stand above a dungeon reel set, each lit in its own color: red for the Vampire, blue for the Monster and green for the Mummy. Those colors are the key to the whole game, because they link the Token symbols on the reels to the three bonus rounds. Endorphina's Head of Product, Andrey Oleshko, singles out the free games multiplier as the highlight.
How a spin works, step by step
- You pick a total bet from 0.05 to 100 EUR. All five lines are always played.
- The three reels stop and line wins are counted from left to right.
- The blue moon Wild substitutes for every symbol except Lightning and Tokens. It appears in the base game and in free games and can land stacked.
- Tokens (a bat, an eye and a jar) can land in the base game. When a Token flies off, the symbol beneath it is revealed and can complete a line.
- Green Tokens go to the Mummy, red Tokens to the Vampire and blue Tokens to the Monster. After attracting a Token, the character may randomly trigger its bonus round.
- After a win you can collect it or try the Risk Game.
Symbols and line wins
The red bat is the top symbol. Endorphina's game page states that three red bats pay 3,000x the base bet; the page does not define base bet, so confirm the money value in the in-game paytable. The other symbols include vampire fangs, a scarab and scrolls; the in-game paytable shows every value in money at your stake. In one official screenshot at a 5.00 EUR bet, three scrolls on a line pay 5.00, a return of 1x the total bet for a low symbol.
| Symbol | Role | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Red bat | Top symbol | 3 of a kind: 3,000x base bet (provider figure) |
| Blue moon | Wild | Stacked, base game and free games |
| Bat, eye, jar Tokens | Bonus links | Base game only, reveal a symbol |
| Lightning | Free games only | Covers a symbol, feeds the multiplier |
Undead Free Games and the unlimited multiplier
The Monster in his laboratory runs the free games. The round starts with a 1x multiplier. Lightning symbols appear only here, cover other symbols and raise the progressive multiplier as they fly off. When a Lightning symbol leaves, the symbol it uncovers can still complete a line. There is no maximum multiplier value, so it can keep building for the whole round.
Endorphina's screenshots show a free game counter of 1 of 8 at the start of one round, with a x2 multiplier already in place, and 10 of 17 later in another, so extra free games can be added. A worked example at a 1.00 stake: a line win of 2.00 lands while the multiplier stands at x2 and pays 4.00. Later the multiplier reaches x10, and a stacked Wild line worth 5.00 pays 50.00. Because the multiplier only grows, late wins in a round are worth far more than early ones.
Crimson Hold and Win
The Vampire's round is a Hold and Win game built around Collector and Bonus symbols. Bonus symbols carry cash values or jackpot labels, and a Collector symbol is part of the same round. The fixed jackpots, confirmed by an official screenshot at a 5.00 EUR stake, are:
| Jackpot | x total bet | At 5.00 EUR |
|---|---|---|
| MIN | 25x | 125.00 |
| MID | 50x | 250.00 |
| MAX | 200x | 1,000.00 |
| ULTRA | 1,000x | 5,000.00 |
At a 1.00 stake, a round that ends with cash values of 2x, 5x and 3x plus a MID label pays 2 + 5 + 3 + 50 = 60.00. The exact respin count and Collector rules are explained on the round's info screen, since Endorphina does not print them on its website.
Mummy Pick'Em
The Mummy's bonus hides four award types under 12 sarcophagi. You keep opening them until three awards of the same kind turn up, and that award is paid. Prizes range from 20x to 500x the total bet:
| Award color | x total bet | At 1.00 |
|---|---|---|
| Green | 20x | 20.00 |
| Blue | 50x | 50.00 |
| Purple | 200x | 200.00 |
| Red | 500x | 500.00 |
Since the game always ends on a matched set, Pick'Em never pays less than 20x. It is the steadiest of the three bonuses, while the free games carry the highest ceiling.
The Risk Game and costs
Endorphina's classic Risk Game is available after a win. You pick one of four face-down cards against the dealer's card; beat it and the win doubles, up to 10 attempts in total. Doubling a 4.00 win three times gives 32.00, but a single loss returns nothing. There is no bonus buy and no ante bet, so the only cost lever is the stake, which starts at 0.05 EUR, or one cent per line.
How it compares
Three-reel slots usually rely on a multiplier reel, as Fortune Gems 2 does. Monstroland goes the other way and stacks full bonus rounds on top of the small grid. If you want a single fixed multiplier on every spin, Fortune Gems 2 is simpler; if you want feature variety on three reels, Monstroland gives more to chase. Endorphina's own Sloth Game uses the same character and Token idea on a 30-line, five-reel layout.
Monstroland and Sloth Game side by side
Both games come from the same Endorphina design: characters above the reels, colored Tokens that feed them and three bonus rounds tied to those characters. The numbers, however, are quite different, and they shape how each game feels at the same stake.
| Monstroland | Sloth Game | |
|---|---|---|
| Grid and lines | 3x3, 5 fixed lines | 5x3, 30 fixed lines |
| RTP | 96.06% | 96.08% |
| Volatility | High | High |
| Bet range (EUR) | 0.05 to 100 | 0.30 to 135 |
| Free games hook | Multiplier from 1x, no maximum | 30 free games to start |
| Hold and Win top prize | ULTRA 1,000x | ULTRA 1,000x |
| Pick game range | 20x to 500x | 30x to 1,000x |
| Published max win | 3,100x | Not published |
The practical difference is line density. Thirty lines on fifteen positions produce more small wins per spin than five lines on nine positions, so Sloth Game tends to trickle back part of the stake between features. Monstroland leans harder on its bonuses, and the Undead multiplier is the one feature in either game that grows without a ceiling until the 3,100x cap stops it.
Bankroll planning on a small grid
With five lines and High volatility, plan for runs of empty spins. A simple approach is to size the stake so that your session budget covers at least 200 spins. At a 0.25 EUR stake, 200 spins cost 50 EUR; at 1.00 EUR the same session needs 200 EUR. Because the bonuses are random and not tied to a scatter count, there is no point at which a feature is owed, so stopping rules should be based on money and time, not on how long it has been since the last bonus.
The Risk Game deserves the same discipline. Gambling every win changes a High volatility slot into an even more extreme one. A sensible rule is to gamble only small line wins, once, and always bank feature wins.
Testing it in the demo
The official demo is hosted on Endorphina's website and loads in the block on this page. Some practical checks:
- Open the paytable and see the money value of three red bats at your stake.
- Note how often each Token color lands and how often it turns into a bonus.
- In free games, track the multiplier after each Lightning symbol.
- Read the RTP shown in the rules, since operators may use a different build from the 96.06% default.
Decide on a loss limit before you play for money. A slot capped at 3,100x with High volatility can go quiet for long stretches, and no sequence of Tokens predicts the next bonus.
