Our verdict

The clever part of Pirate Coins: 3 Chests is that the trigger itself tells you how good the round might be, because the coin colours pick the boosters. Medium volatility, four fixed jackpots and a 5,000x ceiling make it a balanced coin game. Check the buy prices in the game before using that option.

What we like
  • Colours in the trigger choose up to three boosters
  • Fixed jackpots at 20x, 50x, 150x and 1,000x
  • Medium volatility with a 5,000x ceiling
  • Buy option with one, two or three boosters active
Keep in mind
  • Buy prices are only visible inside the game
  • Base game is a plain five line layout
  • Ordinary Coins are limited to the two outer reels

Treasure, parrots and three chests

Evoplay released Pirate Coins: 3 Chests in October 2026. The scene is a bright pirate hideout: an island shaped like a skull with a waterfall pouring down one side, a ship with black sails on the other and three treasure chests fixed above the reels. Acting as both wild and mascot is a parrot in a tricorn hat.

The grid is 3x3 with five fixed lines, filled with J, Q, K and A cards plus a compass and a treasure map. The game's character comes from the coin round and its three chests: purple for Random Coins, red for Random Multi and green for Extra Row. Which chests open is decided by the colours of the coins that started the round.

Published figures: 96.03% RTP, medium volatility, bets from 0.10 to 75 in base currency and a ceiling of 5,000x the stake. There are also four fixed jackpots, running from 20x for the Mini up to 1,000x for the Grand, with Mega (50x) and Super (150x) between them. Evoplay's own site was unreachable when we checked, so these numbers come from Evoplay's press release and in-game screenshots.

Indian law in brief

The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 has been in force since 1 May 2026 and prohibits offering, advertising and facilitating payments for online money games throughout India. Its validity is being challenged before the Supreme Court, and state rules apply too. Real-money play is for adults 18+ only. We could not verify an official embeddable demo for this game, so this page explains the rules in detail instead.

How a round on the reels works

  1. Stake. Choose a bet; your site shows the rupee options. All five lines are always on.
  2. Nine symbols drop onto the three reels.
  3. Lines pay for three matching symbols. The parrot wild fills gaps for regular symbols.
  4. Coin placement. Ordinary Coins are restricted to the outer reels, and the Jolly Coin to the centre one.
  5. Trigger. A Jolly Coin in the middle together with Coins on both outer reels starts the bonus, and the colours of those coins pick the boosters.

Because every coin type has its own reels, you can watch the trigger assemble itself: a coin on the left, the Jolly Coin in the centre, then the wait for the right-hand reel. It is a small source of tension that 3x3 games often lack.

The symbol set

Every base game win is a full line of three. Symbol pays appear only on the paytable screen inside the game. One reference point from a recorded spin: a queen on reel 1 completed diagonally by two parrot wilds paid 1x the stake, so ₹100 on a ₹100 bet.

Line wins keep things moving, but they are small change next to the coin round. Treat the base game as the road to the bonus rather than the destination.

Colours decide the chests

Each chest is one booster, and it opens when coins of its colour are part of the trigger.

Purple: Random Coins

It switches on when the trigger contains purple pieces. Any bonus spin may then scatter between two and four extra coins (ordinary or Jolly) across random cells. More coins mean more value to collect and a fuller grid.

Red: Random Multi

Red symbols in the trigger bring a multiplier between x1 and x5, which lifts the value of Coins that land on the reel it is tied to.

Green: Extra Row

Green symbols stretch the bonus grid from 3x3 to 3x4, giving three more cells for coins to fill.

Since three coins form the trigger, the colour mix decides whether one, two or all three boosters are live. Three purple coins and a rainbow of purple, red and green both open the coin round, yet the rainbow unlocks every chest. In other words, the reveal starts the moment the coins land.

Inside the coin round

The bonus is about gathering Coin and Jolly Coin symbols, each with a value, before the round ends. How many bonus spins you get, whether new coins extend the round and exactly how values and jackpots are paid are set out in the game rules. Read them once before any real stake.

Each booster changes the round in its own way. Random Coins adds quantity, Random Multi adds value on one reel, and Extra Row gives the coins more room. With all three running, you get more coins, larger coins and more room for them at once, which is the setup with the best chance of reaching the upper end of the payout range.

Rupee example of a boosted round

The coin values below illustrate the arithmetic; they are not taken from the paytable. Stake: ₹50.

  • The round closes with six coins worth 1x, 1x, 3x, 4x, 5x and 8x, a total of 22x, which is ₹1,100.
  • Random Multi is active at x2 on the reel holding the 4x and 5x coins. They become 8x and 10x, so the total rises to 22 + 4 + 5 = 31x, or ₹1,550.
  • If the Super jackpot also landed, add 150x, ₹7,500. The round would pay 181x in all, ₹9,050.

The jackpot plaques always show the current rupee values for your stake, so you know what each one is worth before the round begins.

Jackpots at Indian stakes

Jackpotx bet₹10 bet₹50 bet₹200 bet
Mini20x₹200₹1,000₹4,000
Mega50x₹500₹2,500₹10,000
Super150x₹1,500₹7,500₹30,000
Grand1,000x₹10,000₹50,000₹2,00,000

These are fixed multiples, not growing prize pools, so they move up and down with your bet. How each one is awarded during the round is explained on the rules screen.

The buy button

On the left of the grid you will find the Bonus Buy control. It takes you straight into the coin round, and you choose whether to start with one, two or all three boosters. More boosters cost more, because they raise what the round can pay.

Evoplay has not published prices outside the game, so check the buy menu at your stake. Weigh each price against the 5,000x ceiling and the jackpot table above. Our guide to bonus buys covers why a purchase leaves the theoretical return unchanged and how fast it can empty a budget. Some markets switch the feature off altogether.

Return, swings and stake size

A 96.03% RTP sits near the industry middle. Over ₹1,00,000 wagered over time, that means about ₹3,970 kept by the game on average. Operators can run lower builds, so check the figure in the rules. Medium volatility means wins arrive at a fairly even pace, with the coin round and jackpots supplying the spikes.

A simple rule for stake size: divide your budget by 200 and stay at or under that figure. With ₹2,000 set aside, that is ₹10 a spin, enough for a long session and several chances at the bonus. The 5,000x ceiling at ₹10 is ₹50,000.

Similar games and what to check

Small 3x3 coin games form a little family. Hot Hats Hold and Win puts collectors on the middle reel, and Clown Coins builds a respin round around a collector. Pirate Coins: 3 Chests belongs with them: here the centre reel is reserved for the Jolly Coin, and the colours bring the variety. Wherever you open the game, look up four things first: the RTP build, the number of bonus spins, what each buy option costs, and the bet limits in rupees. Our guide to free play explains how to practise with play money where an operator offers it.

Frequently asked questions

Who developed Pirate Coins: 3 Chests?

Evoplay launched it in October 2026: a pirate cove on a 3x3 grid with five lines, a coin round, three colour-coded chest boosters and four fixed jackpots.

What RTP does Pirate Coins: 3 Chests pay?

The listed RTP is 96.03% with medium volatility. Operators can choose other builds, so the rules screen in your session shows the figure that actually applies.

How is the coin round triggered?

You need a Jolly Coin on reel 2 at the same time as Coins on reels 1 and 3. The centre reel never shows ordinary Coins, and the Jolly Coin never shows on the sides. The trigger colours set the boosters.

What does each chest add?

Purple scatters two to four extra coins across random cells on bonus spins. Red brings a multiplier of up to x5 for Coins on its reel. Green adds a fourth row, turning the grid into 3x4.

How much are the jackpots worth in rupees?

Mini is 20x, Mega 50x, Super 150x and Grand 1,000x the bet. At ₹50 that is ₹1,000, ₹2,500, ₹7,500 and ₹50,000. They are fixed multiples, so they rise and fall with your stake.

What is the maximum win?

The ceiling is 5,000x the stake, which is ₹50,000 on a ₹10 spin. Bets range from 0.10 to 75 in base currency, and the Grand jackpot alone pays 1,000x.

Can I play Pirate Coins: 3 Chests for real money in India?

Since 1 May 2026 the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 has prohibited offering online money games in India. Supreme Court challenges are pending and state rules apply alongside. Real-money play anywhere is 18+ only.
