Cheetah Wild in brief
Pragmatic Play launched Cheetah Wild in October 2026 with a savannah theme: a big cat, grazing herds and a grid of five reels and four rows. It counts 1024 ways rather than lines: copies on neighbouring reels from the far left win in any row. Our guide to pay systems covers how ways differ from lines and clusters.
The centre of the game is a collect mechanic. A dedicated collector symbol appears only on reel 1, cash symbols land on reels 2 to 5, and wilds in the middle reels carry their own multipliers. In the bonus, a Level Up meter gradually turns the four animal premiums into cash symbols, so the round grows richer the longer it runs.
Headline figures from the provider: 96.50% return in normal play, a ceiling of 5,000x that the provider expects about once per 3,703,704 spins, and a rules screen that rates the swings as low.
About the law in India: the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 has applied since 1 May 2026 and prohibits the offering and advertising of online money games across the country, along with facilitating payments for them. Its validity is being argued before the Supreme Court, and state-level rules sit on top. Real-money gaming is restricted to people aged 18 or over, and the demo here spins on virtual credits only. We do not suggest VPNs or any other way around blocks.
Reading the reels: a spin walkthrough
- Your stake. A standard spin is priced at 20 coins, so at ₹5 per coin you play ₹100. The ante option raises that to 50 coins, or ₹250.
- Landing positions. The collector can only show up on reel 1. Wilds are limited to reels 2, 3 and 4. Cash symbols can appear on reels 2 through 5.
- Ways wins. Copies of one symbol on neighbouring reels, counted from reel 1, pay per way. The four premiums already pay for two in a row.
- Wild boosts. Some wilds come with an x2 or x3 tag. That tag boosts every win on the screen, and if several boosted wilds land, their values multiply, topping out at x27.
- Collection. When the collector on reel 1 links up with cash symbols or wilds on the next reels in an unbroken left to right way, it pays the total of the cash values in that way, raised by any wild multiplier along it.
- Scatters. Land 3 scatters for 8 free spins, 4 for 15 or 5 for 20.
Paytable in rupees
The game's paytable data does not say which artwork sits in which slot, so the symbols are grouped by rank. Figures are per way, as multiples of the total bet, with the amount at a ₹100 stake in brackets.
| Symbol group | 2 reels | 3 reels | 4 reels | 5 reels |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Top premiums (2) | 0.25x (₹25) | 1.25x (₹125) | 3.25x (₹325) | 4x (₹400) |
| Second premiums (2) | 0.15x (₹15) | 0.5x (₹50) | 1.75x (₹175) | 2.5x (₹250) |
| Low tier 1 (2) | - | 0.25x (₹25) | 1x (₹100) | 2.25x (₹225) |
| Low tier 2 (2) | - | 0.15x (₹15) | 0.75x (₹75) | 2x (₹200) |
| Low tier 3 (2) | - | 0.15x (₹15) | 0.4x (₹40) | 1.5x (₹150) |
| Scatter | - | 1x (₹100) | 6.25x (₹625) | 11.25x (₹1,125) |
According to the rules, the four animals that pay best are the elephant, the rhino, the zebra and the gazelle. Ways can stack: two copies of a symbol on reel 2 double the number of ways for that symbol, so a premium that fills a few rows on each reel pays several times. Still, a full five-reel way of the best symbol is only ₹400 on a ₹100 spin. The real money sits in collections and wild multipliers.
Wilds and the x27 ceiling
Wilds stand in for regular symbols, but not for the scatter, the collector or the Level Up symbol. Because they can only land on the three middle reels, there is a natural limit: three wilds each carrying x3 give 3 × 3 × 3 = x27, the highest boost the game allows. Two wilds with x2 and x3 give x6. Since the values multiply rather than add, each extra boosted wild has a big effect, which our multipliers guide explains in more detail.
Wilds have a second role as bridges in a collection path. A cash symbol on reel 4 means nothing if reels 2 and 3 offer no cash symbol or wild for the way to pass through, and a wild in that gap keeps the chain alive while adding its multiplier.
Cash symbols and the collector
Every cash symbol shows a value on landing, picked from a ladder of eighteen amounts between 0.25x and 100x the base bet. On a ₹100 spin the smallest is worth ₹25 and the largest ₹10,000, with steps such as 5x (₹500), 25x (₹2,500) and 50x (₹5,000) in between. Alone, they pay nothing.
Here is a base game hit at ₹50. The collector lands on reel 1. Next to it sits a 2.5x cash symbol (₹125) on reel 2, then an x2 wild on reel 3 and a 10x cash symbol (₹500) on reel 4. The collector adds 2.5x and 10x for 12.5x, worth ₹625, and the x2 wild doubles it to ₹1,250. If reel 3 had held two boosted wilds, x2 and x3, the combined x6 would push the same collection to ₹3,750. Ordinary way wins come on top.
The frustrating side is just as common. A screen full of cash symbols with no collector on reel 1 pays nothing from them, and a collector with an empty reel 2 is equally idle.
Free spins and the Level Up meter
The free spins start at 8, 15 or 20 spins for three, four or five scatters. During the round it takes fewer to retrigger: a pair of scatters is worth +5 spins, three give +8, four +15 and a full set of five +20. The feature uses its own reel set.
The bonus has a symbol of its own, Level Up. Each one that lands is counted on a meter and then turns into a cash symbol where it stands, so it can still be scooped up by a collector. The meter works through these thresholds:
| Total collected | Level reached | Effect until the round ends |
|---|---|---|
| Fewer than 4 | 1 | Starting reels |
| 4 | 2 | Elephants arrive as cash symbols |
| 7 | 3 | Rhinos join them |
| 13 | 4 | Zebras join them |
| 15 | 5 | Gazelles join them, and the meter stops counting |
The upgrade applies to the reel strips as well as the screen, so each level changes every later spin. A round that climbs to level 5 has all four premiums landing as cash, while one stuck on level 1 plays much like the base game.
A bonus round worked in rupees
Suppose you play at ₹20 and three scatters give you 8 free spins. The first scatter win is 1x, so ₹20 lands straight away. Over spins two to five, seven Level Up symbols arrive; each became cash on the spot, and the seventh moves you to level 3, so elephants and rhinos now land as cash symbols.
On spin six the collector appears. A former rhino worth 3.75x shows on reel 2, an x3 wild covers a spot on reel 3 and a 25x cash symbol waits on reel 4. The collection is 3.75x plus 25x, so 28.75x, then tripled by the wild to 86.25x. At ₹20 that is ₹1,725 from one spin. Land two scatters on a later spin and 5 more spins join the round, giving the meter time to reach level 4.
Ante and the two buys in rupees
The ante bet lifts the price from 20 to 50 coins, so a ₹100 base becomes ₹250 per spin. In return, base spins have better odds of cash symbols with higher values, and a bonus triggered under the ante uses reels with more wilds, a higher share of x3 wilds and larger cash values. Its RTP is 96.51%. The cap does not grow, though: 5,000x of the ₹100 base is ₹5,00,000, which works out to 2,000x of the ₹250 you actually pay.
The menu also offers two bonus buys:
| Option | Price | At ₹100 base | What you get | RTP |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free spins | 100x | ₹10,000 | A trigger with 3 to 5 scatters | 96.57% |
| Super free spins | 500x | ₹50,000 | Round opens with 9 to 15 Level Ups already counted, so level 3 at least | 96.50% |
The super version skips the slow early levels, but at five times the price. Nothing in the rules promises a collector on any spin, so a pricey round can still finish with very little.
Return figures and long-run maths
Pragmatic quotes a separate RTP per mode. Regular spins and the 500x purchase share 96.50%, the ante sits at 96.51% and the cheaper 100x purchase tops the list at 96.57%. Over ₹1,00,000 of regular spins, the theoretical return is about ₹96,500; the same sum spent on 100x buys works out to about ₹96,570. These are long-run averages, not a forecast for tonight. Casinos can run other configurations, so the info screen of the version in front of you is the one to trust.
The low volatility tag fits what you see on the reels: small ways wins and cash collections keep the balance moving, while the 5,000x top prize, ₹5,00,000 on a ₹100 base, needs stacked wild boosts during a high-level bonus.
Demo practice and bankroll tips
The demo above runs the provider's own build with play money. Play 100 base spins without the ante and keep a tally of collector landings and of the ones that really link up with cash. That ratio is the clearest picture of how this slot pays. Then switch the ante on for 100 more and watch the cash values. Our demo guide lists other checks.
- Remember the ante makes each spin 2.5 times dearer, so the same budget covers far fewer rounds.
- Treat the 500x buy as one large bet rather than a shortcut.
- Check the rules for the RTP line of each mode and the bet range the casino has set.

Frequently asked questions
What RTP does Cheetah Wild have?
Regular play returns 96.50%, as does the 500x super purchase. The ante mode is 96.51% and the 100x purchase is highest at 96.57%. Operators can install other configurations, so confirm the number in the game's info screen.
How does the collector symbol work?
It lands only on reel 1. When cash symbols or wilds to its right form an unbroken left to right way with it, it pays the total of those cash values, and any wild multiplier on that path raises the sum.
How big can the wild multiplier get?
Each wild on reels 2, 3 or 4 can carry x2 or x3, and boosted wilds multiply together. Three x3 wilds make x27, the largest possible boost, which would turn a ₹500 collection into ₹13,500.
How many free spins can I get?
The trigger awards 8 spins for three scatters, 15 for four and 20 for five. Retriggers need only two scatters, which add 5, with bigger sets adding 8, 15 or 20, while Level Up symbols move the meter through levels 2 to 5.
How much do the bonus buys cost in rupees?
At a ₹100 base bet, standard free spins cost ₹10,000 (100x) and super free spins ₹50,000 (500x). The super round begins with 9 to 15 Level Ups already collected, so it starts at level 3 or higher.
What is the maximum win?
5,000 times the base bet, so ₹5,00,000 at ₹100. The provider puts the chance at 1 in 3,703,704 spins. With the ante active, that cap equals 2,000x of the raised stake.
Is real-money Cheetah Wild allowed in India?
Since 1 May 2026 the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 has prohibited offering online money games anywhere in India, with challenges pending before the Supreme Court and state rules alongside. The free demo uses virtual credits, and any real-money play is 18+ only.
