Smokey checks into a castle
Hacksaw Gaming dated Le Vampire for 1 October 2026, and it belongs to the same Le line as Le Bandit. The raccoon thief is back, this time sneaking through bat-filled rooms while garlic and daylight try to stop him. If you have played anything from the series, the look will feel familiar. What changes is the second layer of features on top of the square system.
Here are the numbers from Hacksaw's own game data, before we turn them into naira:
- Grid: 6 reels by 5 rows, wins by clusters
- Volatility: 3 on a 5-point scale
- Top prize: 15,000x the stake, possible in every mode
- RTP builds: 97%, 96%, 94%, 92% and 86%
- Two bonus buys at 60x and 250x, plus three FeatureSpins modes
What one spin does on the grid
Forget lines. A win needs at least five identical symbols joined edge to edge, up, down, left or right, anywhere on the 30 positions. Our guide to clusters, ways and lines covers the format if it is new to you.
After a cluster pays, Hacksaw uses what it calls Super Cascades. Every regular symbol of the winning kind disappears from the entire grid, including copies that were not part of the cluster, and fresh symbols fall into the gaps. That clears more space than a standard tumble and gives the next drop a better chance to connect.
Each winning symbol also leaves a Golden Square on its position. These marks hold for as long as the cascade keeps going. If a Rainbow lands during that sequence, it switches on every marked square once the wins are settled, and each one reveals a Special symbol. If the cascade stops without a Rainbow, the marks are wiped and the next spin starts clean. The Wild covers any paying symbol, and FS scatters, Rainbows and Epic Rainbows never share the grid in one spin.
What sits under the squares, priced at ₦100
Coins are multiples of the stake, so at ₦100 a spin the four coin tiers look like this:
| Coin | Values | At ₦100 stake |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze | 0.2x, 0.4x, 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x | ₦20 to ₦400 |
| Silver | 5x to 10x | ₦500 to ₦1,000 |
| Gold | 20x, 30x, 40x, 50x | ₦2,000 to ₦5,000 |
| Diamond | 100x, 150x, 250x, 500x | ₦10,000 to ₦50,000 |
Four more Specials work on those coins. A Green Clover multiplies coins, Bags and Pots in the squares touching it, while a Gold Clover does the same across the whole grid; both use x2, x3, x4, x5, x10 or x20. A Bag of Gold sweeps up everything in the 3x3 block around it. A Pot of Gold sweeps up every coin, Bag and Pot on the screen.
The sequence never changes: squares reveal, clovers multiply, Bags fire from the top left across and down, then Pots fire in the same order. Each time a collector empties squares, those squares reveal again, so one Rainbow can run several rounds of reveals. A collector that has fired once stays quiet afterwards. Whatever is left on the grid at the end is added up and paid.
Following one Rainbow in naira
Take a ₦200 spin. Two cascades in a row mark seven squares, then a Rainbow drops in. The reveal shows a 3x Bronze, an 8x Silver, a 30x Gold, a Gold Clover at x2, a Bag of Gold next to the Bronze and the Silver, and two small Bronze coins of 0.4x and 1x on the far side.
The Gold Clover goes first and doubles everything: 6x, 16x, 60x, 0.8x and 2x. The Bag then pulls in the two coins beside it, 6x plus 16x, for 22x. Its emptied squares reveal again and give one 2x Bronze with no new collector. Adding the grid up: 22x in the Bag, 60x, 0.8x, 2x and the new 2x make 86.8x, which is ₦17,360 on that ₦200 spin, paid on top of the two cascade wins. Had the Rainbow not landed, all seven squares would simply have disappeared.
That gap between a spin with a Rainbow and one without is the whole personality of the game.
Epic Rainbow and Blood Squares
An Epic Rainbow skips the marking stage altogether: all 30 positions turn into squares and reveal at once. Some Epic Rainbows bring Blood Rain, turning every position into a Blood Square instead. A Blood Square follows the same rules with one big difference, it can never show a Bronze coin, so the cheapest prizes from 0.2x to 4x are taken out.
Inside the bonuses there are also Epic symbols. They pay more than their normal versions, and when one forms part of a cluster, the square under it becomes a Blood Square rather than a Golden one.
Three bonuses and the Symbol Bar
All three bonuses give 10 free spins. The number of FS scatters landing together in the base game decides which one you get:
| FS scatters | Bonus name | How the squares behave |
|---|---|---|
| Three | Coffin Break | Marks stay on the grid until a Rainbow uses them |
| Four | Love at First Bite | Marks stay even after a Rainbow has used them |
| Five | Do Your Fang | Marks stay after use and every spin brings a Rainbow or Epic Rainbow |
Scatters do not appear during a bonus, so the only way to stretch it is the Symbol Bar. Whenever a high-paying symbol wins, it is upgraded to its Epic form until the round ends and the bar climbs a level. Levels 1 to 3 add 2 spins each. Level 4 adds 2 more and promises a Rainbow or Epic Rainbow on the following spin, upgraded to a guaranteed Epic Rainbow inside Do Your Fang. Fill the bar and 10 spins become 18. Every coin shown during a bonus is worth at least 1x, so at ₦100 nothing smaller than ₦100 turns up.
Love at First Bite is the one to watch. A square that has already paid can pay again on each later Rainbow, so the grid grows richer spin after spin instead of starting over.
Buy menu converted to naira
The demo offers five paid options. Three are FeatureSpins, meaning altered base game spins at a higher price; two are straight bonus buys. These are the prices at a ₦100 base stake:
| Option | Price | At ₦100 | Demo RTP |
|---|---|---|---|
| BonusHunt, bonus five times more likely | 3x per spin | ₦300 | 96.31% |
| Rainbow Bite, Rainbow or Epic Rainbow every spin | 75x per spin | ₦7,500 | 96.12% |
| Rainbow Epic Drop, Epic Rainbow every spin | 500x per spin | ₦50,000 | 96.36% |
| Cheaper bonus buy | 60x | ₦6,000 | 96.25% |
| Dearer bonus buy | 250x | ₦25,000 | 96.26% |
Following the usual pattern of the series, the 60x buy should lead to Coffin Break and the 250x buy to Love at First Bite; Hacksaw does not name them, so take that as our reading of the build. Do Your Fang cannot be bought. A single ₦50,000 Epic Drop spin is a serious amount of money for one outcome, and a budget that looks large in base game terms can disappear in a handful of buys.
Return, risk and the top prize
The five builds stretch from 97% down to 86%. Over ₦100,000 of play, that is the difference between a theoretical ₦97,000 and ₦86,000 coming back, and the operator, not you, picks the build. The official demo runs the 96% version. Open the info screen in the game before staking and read the figure there; our RTP explainer shows why that number is worth a minute of your time.
Hacksaw places volatility at 3 of 5. In practice the base game feels slow, because many cascades end without a Rainbow, and then pays in bursts. The volatility guide explains how that shapes a session. The 15,000x prize needs a grid covered in marks followed by a Rainbow; the rules confirm the base game is capable of it, only less often than the bonuses.
Testing it before real naira
- Count the misses. In the free demo, note how many cascades mark several squares and end with no Rainbow. That ratio tells you how patient the game needs you to be.
- Compare 60x and 250x. Buy each a few times with play credits and see whether the persistent squares really justify the higher price.
- Set a cut-off. At ₦100 a spin, ₦15,000 covers 150 spins. Decide in advance where you stop.
- Check your state. Since the Supreme Court judgment of November 2024, each Nigerian state regulates gambling itself. Use an operator licensed for your state, play only at 18 or older and never work around a block.
For a second Hacksaw title with very different pacing, look at Wanted Dead or a Wild, and the demo checklist lists more things to test before money changes hands.
Where to play Le Vampire with naira
Questions Nigerian players ask
How much can Le Vampire pay on a ₦100 spin?
The ceiling is 15,000 times the stake, so ₦1,500,000 at ₦100. Hacksaw confirms the base game is capable of it, though the bonuses give it a better chance.
Which RTP does Le Vampire run?
Hacksaw offers builds of 97%, 96%, 94%, 92% and 86%, and each operator installs one. The free demo uses 96%. The info screen inside the game shows the version you are actually playing.
What makes the Golden Squares pay?
Winning symbols mark their positions. When a Rainbow lands, the marks reveal coins from 0.2x to 500x, clovers up to x20, or Bag and Pot collectors that gather coins together.
How do I get into the bonus games?
Three FS scatters at once give Coffin Break, four give Love at First Bite and five give Do Your Fang. Each starts with 10 free spins and can grow to 18 through the Symbol Bar.
How much do the Le Vampire bonus buys cost in naira?
At ₦100 the two buys cost ₦6,000 (60x) and ₦25,000 (250x). FeatureSpins cost ₦300, ₦7,500 or ₦50,000 per spin. Do Your Fang is not on the menu.
What is a Blood Square?
It works like a Golden Square but can never reveal a Bronze coin. Blood Squares come from Blood Rain on an Epic Rainbow and from Epic symbols winning during bonuses.
Can I play Le Vampire legally in Nigeria?
Gambling has been regulated state by state since the Supreme Court ruling of November 2024. Play only with an operator licensed for your state, only at 18 or older. The demo costs nothing.
