Smokey moves into the castle
Hacksaw Gaming released Le Vampire on 1 October 2026 as the newest member of its Le series, alongside Le Bandit. The cheeky raccoon Smokey has swapped city streets for a gothic castle full of bats, and he has to sidestep garlic and sunlight to reach the vault. Under the cartoon art the core idea is the series' signature: every winning symbol leaves its square lit, and a Rainbow later converts the lit squares into prizes.
Provider data in short: six reels by five rows, cluster wins, volatility 3 out of 5, and a maximum of 15,000x the bet that can be reached in every mode. Five RTP builds exist, from 97% at the top to 86% at the bottom.
A word on the legal position. India's Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 came into force on 1 May 2026 and prohibits offering, advertising or handling payments for online money games nationwide. Legal challenges are pending before the Supreme Court and state laws also play a part. Real-money play is strictly 18+, and the demo on this page uses virtual credits only. We describe the game; we do not point to VPNs or other workarounds.
What happens when you press spin
- Thirty symbols drop. Five or more identical symbols touching side to side or top to bottom form a cluster anywhere on the grid. Our cluster pays explainer covers the basics.
- Super Cascades. When a cluster wins, the game removes every regular paying symbol of that type across the whole screen, not just the ones in the cluster. Fresh symbols fall in. Think of it as an aggressive tumble.
- Squares light up. Every position that held a winning symbol becomes a Golden Square and stays lit for the rest of the cascade chain.
- A Rainbow arrives, or not. When a Rainbow shows up, the lit squares switch on after the cluster wins are counted, and each square reveals a Special symbol.
- Clean slate. After everything is paid, squares and Special symbols are wiped for the next spin.
The Wild covers every paytable symbol. You will never see FS scatters, Rainbows and Epic Rainbows in the same spin, and the grid holds one Rainbow of either kind at most.
Prizes hiding behind the squares
An activated square can reveal a coin, a clover or a collector. Values are multiples of your bet, and the table adds what each means on a ₹50 spin.
| Special symbol | Value or effect | At ₹50 |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze Coin | 0.2x, 0.4x, 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x | ₹10 to ₹200 |
| Silver Coin | 5x up to 10x in steps of 1x | ₹250 to ₹500 |
| Gold Coin | 20x, 30x, 40x, 50x | ₹1,000 to ₹2,500 |
| Diamond Coin | 100x, 150x, 250x, 500x | ₹5,000 to ₹25,000 |
| Green Clover | x2, x3, x4, x5, x10 or x20 on neighbouring coins, Bags and Pots | - |
| Gold Clover | Same range, applied to the entire grid | - |
| Bag of Gold | Gathers coins, Bags and Pots from the 3x3 block around it | - |
| Pot of Gold | Gathers every coin, Bag and Pot on the grid | - |
The sequence never changes. All squares reveal first. Clovers then apply their multipliers. Bags fire next in reading order, row by row, and Pots follow in that same order. Whenever a collector clears squares, the cleared spots turn over new Special symbols and the routine runs once more, although a collector that has fired once does not fire again. The final board is totalled and that sum is your prize.
A Rainbow hit worked in rupees
Play at ₹20. Two cascading wins light seven Golden Squares, and then a Rainbow lands. The squares show a 2x Bronze Coin, an 8x Silver Coin, a 40x Gold Coin, a Green Clover x5, a Bag of Gold and two more Bronze Coins of 1x and 3x. The clover touches the 2x and 8x coins; the Bag sits beside them too.
Step one, the clover: 2x becomes 10x and 8x becomes 40x. Step two, the Bag gathers both, holding 50x. The two squares it cleared turn over once more, revealing a 0.4x and a 6x coin, with no further collector. The board now holds the Bag at 50x, the 40x Gold Coin, the 1x and 3x Bronze Coins and the new 0.4x and 6x. Total: 100.4x, which at ₹20 is ₹2,008, paid on top of the cluster wins. Had no Rainbow landed, those seven squares would simply have reset.
Epic Rainbow, Blood Rain and Epic symbols
Epic Rainbow is a stronger take on it: every one of the 30 positions becomes a Golden Square at once and reveals a Special symbol, following the same order of steps. It can also set off Blood Rain, which makes every position a Blood Square instead. Blood Squares behave like Golden ones except that they never show Bronze Coins, so the 0.2x to 4x prizes drop out entirely.
Epic symbols belong to the bonus games. Their payouts beat those of the plain versions, and whenever an Epic symbol is part of a winning cluster, the square underneath turns into a Blood Square.
Three bonus rounds compared
Get three, four or five FS scatters on one base spin and you unlock one of three free spins rounds, each starting with 10 spins. FS symbols cannot appear during a bonus, so scatters never retrigger it.
| FS scatters | Round | How the squares behave |
|---|---|---|
| 3 | Coffin Break | Lit squares stay idle until a Rainbow fires |
| 4 | Love at First Bite | Activated squares remain lit and can pay again |
| 5 | Do Your Fang | Squares persist, plus a guaranteed Rainbow or Epic Rainbow on each spin |
In Love at First Bite, if an Epic Rainbow fires, only the squares that were lit before it remain afterwards. In all three rounds every coin is worth at least 1x, so even a weak reveal on a ₹50 spin is ₹50 per coin or more.
The Symbol Bar and extra spins
Extra spins come from the Symbol Bar instead of scatters. When one of the premium symbols wins during a bonus, it is paid first, and then that whole symbol type becomes Epic until the round is over. Each upgrade lifts the bar one level:
- Levels 1 to 3: 2 more free spins each.
- Level 4: 2 more spins plus a guaranteed Rainbow or Epic Rainbow on the very next spin. In Do Your Fang the guarantee is an Epic Rainbow.
Fill the bar and a 10-spin round stretches to 18. Every Epic type also means more Blood Squares, because its wins mark them.
Buying in: costs at ₹50
The demo menu has five purchase options. FeatureSpins are paid spins with a tweaked base game, while the bonus buys launch a round directly.
| Option | Price | At ₹50 | Demo RTP |
|---|---|---|---|
| BonusHunt FeatureSpins (bonus 5 times as likely) | 3x | ₹150 per spin | 96.31% |
| Rainbow Bite FeatureSpins (Rainbow or Epic Rainbow every spin, coins 1x minimum) | 75x | ₹3,750 per spin | 96.12% |
| Rainbow Epic Drop FeatureSpins (Epic Rainbow every spin, coins 1x minimum) | 500x | ₹25,000 per spin | 96.36% |
| Bonus buy, cheaper tier | 60x | ₹3,000 | 96.25% |
| Bonus buy, dearer tier | 250x | ₹12,500 | 96.26% |
Following the pattern of the series, the 60x buy appears to match the three-scatter round and the 250x buy the four-scatter one. That pairing is our reading of the option names rather than a published statement. Do Your Fang cannot be bought. At ₹25,000 a go, a single Rainbow Epic Drop spin is best seen as one very large bet, not a session.
RTP builds and what they mean over time
Hacksaw lists five builds (97%, 96%, 94%, 92% and 86%); the official demo session uses the 96% version, and the purchase options there return between 96.12% and 96.36%. Over ₹1,00,000 wagered, the 97% build gives back about ₹97,000 in theory and the 86% build about ₹86,000. That ₹11,000 gap is why the RTP line in the info screen deserves a look before anything else.
Volatility of 3 out of 5 places Le Vampire mid-scale (see our volatility guide), though returns still lean heavily on Rainbow activations. The 15,000x ceiling, ₹7,50,000 on a ₹50 spin, needs a grid packed with lit squares followed by a Rainbow to switch them on. According to the rules, a base spin can get there too, only with lower odds than the bonus rounds.
Demo practice and bankroll tips
The free demo above is Hacksaw's own build running on play money. Use it to learn the rhythm first. Our demo guide lists general checks; for this slot try the following:
- Over 200 base spins, note how many squares a typical cascade lights before a Rainbow shows up.
- Compare a few 60x and 250x buys and see how often the persistent squares in the dearer round earn back the higher price.
- Try BonusHunt at 3x for a stretch and count how often a bonus actually appears.
- Pick a stake that covers well over 100 spins, because squares that never meet a Rainbow pay nothing.
For another Hacksaw Gaming release to set beside it, try Wanted Dead or a Wild.

Frequently asked questions
What RTP does Le Vampire run at?
Five builds exist, 97%, 96%, 94%, 92% and 86%, and the casino decides which one to install, and the official demo uses the 96% model. Check the info screen to see the exact figure for your version.
What is the largest win in Le Vampire?
15,000 times the bet, which is ₹15,00,000 on a ₹100 spin. It is available in every mode, and per the rules a base spin can reach it as well, only less often than a bonus round.
How do Golden Squares pay?
Every winning symbol lights its square. Once a Rainbow lands, each lit square turns into a coin worth 0.2x to 500x, a Green or Gold Clover multiplying by as much as x20, or a Bag or Pot that sweeps coin values together.
Which bonus do I get from the scatters?
Coffin Break needs three FS scatters. Love at First Bite needs four. The hidden Do Your Fang round needs all five. Each begins with 10 free spins, and the Symbol Bar can add up to 8 more.
How much do the buys cost in rupees?
At ₹50 per spin, the bonus buys cost ₹3,000 (60x) and ₹12,500 (250x). FeatureSpins cost ₹150, ₹3,750 or ₹25,000 per spin for the 3x, 75x and 500x modes.
Is Le Vampire a high volatility slot?
Not on Hacksaw's scale. It is rated 3 out of 5, the middle band. Results still depend heavily on Rainbows landing at the right moment, so a short session can swing either way.
Can I play Le Vampire for real money from India?
The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025, in force since 1 May 2026, prohibits offering online money games across India; challenges are pending before the Supreme Court and state rules apply as well. Our demo uses virtual credits, and real-money play is 18+ only.
