Sweet Bonanza in three rules

Strip away the colours and Sweet Bonanza runs on three rules. First, a win needs at least 8 identical symbols, placed anywhere across the 6x5 grid. Second, winning symbols are removed and new ones fall in, so one spin can pay several times. Third, in free spins, multiplier bombs land and their values are added up and applied to the chain they fell in. Everything on the screen serves one of those rules.

Fruit and candy values at naira stakes

The five fruits are the lower half of the table, four candies sit above them, and the red heart is the top symbol. The figures below are multiples of your stake, with two naira columns so you can see what a minimum-count hit pays at ₦100 and at ₦500.

The table has one cliff worth remembering: the step from 10 to 11 symbols up to 12 or more. Watermelon moves from 1x to 5x, plum from 1.2x to 8x. Twelve of anything usually needs a tumble that keeps topping up the same fruit, which is why long chains matter even in the base game. Also note that a lot of small fruit wins return less than you staked. At ₦100, eight bananas give back ₦25. That is normal here and not a sign that something is off.

The lollipop and how free spins start

The lollipop is the scatter. It ignores the 8-symbol rule and pays by its own count:

Bombs and the free spins maths

Free spins play like the base game plus one extra: rainbow bombs carrying 2x to 100x. A bomb does not pay by itself and does not disappear during tumbles. It sits on the grid until the chain ends. Worked example at ₦200

A free spin opens with 9 plums worth 0.8x, which is ₦160. The tumble brings 10 watermelons for 1x, another ₦200. Nothing else connects, so the chain wins ₦360. Two bombs landed during it, 4x and 20x, adding to 24x. The chain pays ₦360 × 24 = ₦8,640.

Next spin, three bombs of 2x, 5x and 50x land, but no symbol reaches eight. The chain wins nothing, so 57x of bombs pay nothing either. This is the most common letdown in the round, and it is why a bonus with big bomb values can still close small.

A bigger case: 12 blue candies pay 12x, which is ₦2,400 at ₦200. With a single 25x bomb, the chain returns ₦60,000. Good bonuses need both halves at once, a real symbol win and a decent bomb total in the same chain.

Double chance or the 100x buy

You get two optional tools, and you must choose one or the other.

Double chance adds 25% to every spin, so ₦200 becomes ₦250, and doubles the chance of triggering free spins. It works like an ante bet: a steady surcharge for more frequent bonuses.

Bonus buy costs 100x your stake and drops you straight into 10 free spins. At ₦100 that is ₦10,000; at ₦500 it is ₦50,000. The buy is greyed out whenever double chance is active, and certain operators drop it altogether.

A quick way to decide: double chance spreads the cost across a long session, the buy concentrates it into one moment. If a single ₦10,000 purchase would be more than a fifth of what you brought, stay with normal spins or double chance.
