Pragmatic Play launched Starlight Princess on 23 September 2021 and presented it as the studio's first anime inspired video slot. The Princess hovers beside the reels above the clouds and throws winged multiplier symbols onto the grid. The art is new; the engine underneath is the well known pay anywhere format with tumbles and additive multipliers.

That means much of what you know from Gates of Olympus carries over directly: a 6x5 grid, 8 or more symbols anywhere to win, 96.50% RTP, a 5,000x ceiling and a 100x buy. Spin mechanics step by step

1. Stake. A base spin costs 20 coins. At ₱25 each coin is worth ₱1.25. With Ante Bet on, the spin costs 25 coins, or ₱31.25.
2. The drop. Thirty symbols fill six columns of five.
3. The count. Wins use scatter pays: 8 or more copies of one symbol anywhere pay. Adjacency and position do not matter.
4. The tumble. Paid symbols disappear, the rest fall and new ones drop in. The tumble repeats while wins keep forming.
5. Collection. Winged multipliers that land during the chain stay on screen until it ends.
6. Payout. The chain's wins are summed, every multiplier value is added together, and the total multiplies the chain.

A multiplier on a spin without a win multiplies nothing. The strong base game results need a paying chain and a winged symbol at the same time.

Paytable by symbol rank

There are nine regular symbols plus the Princess scatter. The provider's game data gives payouts without symbol names, so the table ranks them from highest to lowest. The in-game paytable shows the artwork beside each row. The last column adds the peso value of the top band at ₱25.

Rank 4 is the clearest case of the band jump: 2x for ten or eleven copies, 12x for twelve. One extra symbol from a tumble can make a hit six times bigger. The bottom ranks rarely return the stake alone, so most of the game's value depends on multipliers.

The Princess scatter pays wherever she lands: four return 3x (₱75 at ₱25), five return 5x (₱125) and six or more return 100x (₱2,500). Four or more also start the bonus.

Winged multipliers in the base game

Multipliers come in green, blue, pink and orange and can appear on any spin. Each carries a random value from x2 to x500. The multipliers guide compares this type with others; here the rules are short:

• They stay on the grid until the tumble chain finishes.
• Their values are added: x3 and x2 make x5, not x6.
• The sum applies to the whole chain win.
• Nothing carries into the next base game spin.

Example at ₱25: the drop lands ten rank 2 symbols for 10x, or ₱250. The tumble adds eight rank 9 symbols for ₱6.25, making ₱256.25. A x3 and a x2 landed during the chain, so the multiplier is x5 and the spin pays ₱1,281.25, just over 51 times the stake.

Free spins and the running total

Four or more scatters award 15 free spins. Here multipliers stop resetting. Each winged symbol that hits during a winning chain joins a total for the round, and the updated total multiplies that chain. The total cannot fall until the bonus ends.

Worked round at ₱25

1. Spin 1: eight rank 7 symbols pay ₱12.50 and a x4 lands. The total is x4 and the chain pays ₱50.
2. Spin 6: eight rank 4 symbols pay ₱37.50 with a x10. The total rises to x14 and the chain pays ₱525.
3. Spin 11: eight rank 2 symbols pay ₱62.50 with a x6. The total reaches x20 and the chain pays ₱1,250.

Raw wins were ₱112.50. With the running total the round returned ₱1,825, or 73 times the stake. The x6 on spin 11 was the smallest meaningful multiplier of the round, yet it sat on the largest payout, because it arrived on top of x14 already collected. Early multipliers are the most valuable ones: they boost every later chain that brings a fresh multiplier. A winning chain with no new multiplier pays at 1x.

Ante Bet and the 100x buy

The Ante Bet raises each spin from 20 to 25 coins, so ₱25 becomes ₱31.25, and doubles the chance of triggering free spins. The bonus buy costs 100x the bet, ₱2,500 at ₱25, and starts the 15 free spins directly where the platform allows it.

The game server lists 96.50% for regular play, Ante Bet and the purchased feature, so none of these options carried an RTP penalty in the build we checked. What they change is the spread of results. A bought round can land far above or far below ₱2,500, and several weak buys in a row empty a budget quickly.

The cap is 5,000x the base bet, ₱125,000 at ₱25. With Ante Bet on, the rules express it as 4,000x of the raised ₱31.25 stake, which is the same ₱125,000.

Starlight Princess 1000 arrived on 26 October 2023 with the same grid and bonus trigger and multipliers from x2 up to x1,000. Two more habits help. First, write down the result of every bonus you see, natural or bought, as a multiple of the stake. After five or six rounds you will have a far better sense of the spread than any single big win can give. Second, decide your loss limit and your walk away point before the first spin and keep to them, whatever the last round paid.
