What Hyper Cuber is
Hyper Cuber is a cascading slot from CT Interactive, the online studio of the CT Gaming group, released in October 2022. The look is pure neon: glowing gem cubes, light trails and a pulsing space backdrop. Underneath the effects sits a short rulebook that you can learn in a couple of minutes.
The game has five reels and, according to third-party listings, three rows, so you are looking at 15 symbol positions per spin. There are no paylines at all. CT Interactive describes it as a cluster cascade game in which every win is paid as a scatter win, which means position does not matter, only the count of matching symbols on screen.
The provider lists a maximum win of 1,000x. The RTP most often reported for the game is 95.85%, a figure that comes from third-party listings because CT Interactive does not print it on the game page.
How a spin works step by step
- Set your bet. The stake you choose here also becomes the stake for any free games you trigger.
- The screen fills. Five reels drop a full set of symbols.
- Wins are counted. Any regular symbol that appears 5 or more times anywhere on screen pays. This is the scatter pays model, so a symbol on reel 1 and another on reel 5 count just as well as two neighbors.
- Winners burst. All symbols that formed a win disappear.
- The cascade. Symbols above the gaps fall down, and new symbols fill the empty spaces from the top. If a new win forms, it pays as well. This tumble repeats until the screen shows no winning combination.
- The spin ends. All cascade wins are added and credited. Refills are free; you only pay for the opening spin.
The scatter symbol follows its own rule. It pays for 3, 4 or 5 on screen rather than the 5 or more that regular symbols need, and three or more also start the bonus.
Symbols and special symbols
| Symbol | Where it lands | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Regular symbols | All reels | Pay for 5 or more anywhere on screen |
| Wild | Reels 2, 3 and 4 only | Substitutes for all symbols except the scatter and the multiplier cube |
| Scatter | All reels | Pays for 3, 4 or 5; 3 or more trigger 15 free games |
| Multiplier cube | Free games only | Takes a random value of x2, x3, x5, x10, x15 or x100 |
CT Interactive does not publish the coin values of each symbol in text form. The paytable in the game shows them in credits for your current bet, so open it at the stake you plan to play and you can read every value directly.
Because the wild sits only on the three middle reels, it can appear at most three times per screen. In a scatter pays game a wild simply adds one to the count of whichever symbol it helps, so a screen with four matching symbols and one wild is already a five-symbol win.
Free games explained
Three or more scatters anywhere on screen award 15 free games. During the round, three or more scatters add another 15 games, and the rules text sets no cap on how many times that can happen.
Two things change once the round starts. First, the game switches to a different set of reels for the free games. Second, the multiplier cube joins the symbol mix. It never appears in paid spins, so the free games are where almost all of the game's upside lives.
The bet in the free games is locked to the stake of the paid spin that triggered them. If you trigger the bonus at 0.50, every free game plays at 0.50, even if you planned to raise your stake.
How the multiplier cubes work, with a worked example
Each time a cube lands in free games it shows a random value: x2, x3, x5, x10, x15 or x100. The values of all cubes on screen are added together, and the total win of the current cascade sequence is multiplied by that sum. Our multiplier guide compares this additive style with designs where multipliers multiply each other.
Worked example at a 1.00 stake. A free game opens with a five-symbol win worth 0.60. Those symbols burst, the refill brings a second win of 0.40, and then a third of 1.00. The cascade sequence totals 2.00. Two cubes are on screen, showing x5 and x10. Added together they give x15, so the free game pays 2.00 x 15 = 30.00.
Now swap the x10 cube for an x100 cube. The sum becomes x105, and the same 2.00 sequence would be worth 210.00. That one value is why the free games carry most of the excitement. Keep in mind that the provider lists the maximum win as 1,000x, so the ceiling at a 1.00 stake is 1,000.00.
A cube with no winning cascade beside it pays nothing. The multiplier needs at least one win in the same free game to have any effect.
Is there a Hyper Cuber bonus buy?
No. Hyper Cuber has no bonus buy feature, and there is no ante bet or feature-boost option either. Neither the provider's game page nor the in-game rules mention any way to pay for direct entry to the free games.
The only route to the bonus is landing three or more scatters in a paid spin. Cascades help here: every refill is another chance for a scatter to drop in, so a long chain of wins can end with the free games starting.
If you see a buy button at a casino under this game name, check the rules screen of that version carefully, because it would not match the game CT Interactive describes.
Gamble feature
CT Interactive lists a gamble feature for Hyper Cuber. After a win you can choose to risk it in a double-up game for the chance to double the amount, or collect and carry on. It is optional and you can ignore it entirely. The exact gamble format and any limit on how many times you can double are shown in the game itself.
A sensible habit: decide before the session whether you will use the gamble at all. Doubling small wins on impulse adds variance without changing the long run return.
RTP, volatility and max win
The RTP most often listed for Hyper Cuber is 95.85%. CT Interactive does not show it on its own game page, so treat it as a reference and confirm it on the info screen of the version you open. Our RTP guide explains what the number means over a long run of spins.
The provider does not publish a volatility rating in words. The maximum win is listed at 1,000x the bet, which puts Hyper Cuber in the moderate ceiling category. With x100 cubes in the mix, a single strong free game can reach a sizable share of that cap.
| Stake | Max win at 1,000x | Free games bet |
|---|---|---|
| 0.20 | 200.00 | 0.20 |
| 1.00 | 1,000.00 | 1.00 |
| 5.00 | 5,000.00 | 5.00 |
Bet limits are set per casino, so check the minimum and maximum stake in the game you open.
How Hyper Cuber compares
If you know Sweet Bonanza, the basic loop will feel familiar: count matching symbols anywhere, burst them, refill, and wait for multipliers in the free spins. Hyper Cuber is smaller in scale. It uses a 5x3 screen instead of a large grid, asks for 5 symbols instead of 8, and has no purchase option. That makes wins in the base game easier to spot and the free games the clear focus.
How to test it in the free demo
- Play 200 base game spins and count how often a cascade produces a second win. That tells you how much the tumble adds in this game.
- Note how often three scatters land. With no buy, that rate decides how long you wait between bonuses.
- In free games, note which cube values appear and how often two or more cubes share a screen with a win. Those moments decide the size of the round.
- Open the paytable at your stake and read the credit values for 5, 6 and more symbols.
- Check the info screen for the RTP and the bet range of the version you are playing.
