What Money Cart 2 is
Money Cart 2 takes the bonus round of Money Train 2 and turns it into the whole game. Relax Gaming files it under its own game type, Bonus Reels, and describes it as a slot that leaves the base game behind. There are no paylines, no wilds and no low-paying card symbols to sit through. Every paid spin is a shot at landing enough bonus symbols to start the Money Cart respin round, where the familiar outlaw crew of Payers, Collectors, Snipers and the Necromancer goes to work.
The game started out in a limited release before Relax opened it to every market except Germany. The provider's game page lists stakes from 0.10 to 200 per spin, which is a far wider range than Money Train 2 offers. Relax also lists an alternative game ID for the UK, a sign that a separate build runs there, so the rules screen at your operator is the final word on the version you play.
RTP, max win and the coin scale
The game's own configuration prints a 98.00% RTP, and Relax's client data lists the same 98.0 figure. That is unusually high. Over 1,000 spins at 1.00, the long-run expected cost is 20.00, against 36.00 for Money Train 2 at 96.40%.
The win cap is where you need to read carefully. The rules state a cap of 50,000 coins per round and spell out that this equals 5,000x the selected bet. In other words, ten coins make one bet. The game shows this on screen too: at a 10.00 stake the counter reads 1 = 1.00. Keep that ratio in mind whenever you see a value on a symbol.
| Value in the rules | In coins | As a multiple of your bet | At a 1.00 stake |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bonus symbol | 1 to 10 | 0.1x to 1x | 0.10 to 1.00 |
| Golden Bonus symbol | 20 to 200 | 2x to 20x | 2.00 to 20.00 |
| Full grid award | 500 | 50x | 50.00 |
| Win cap | 50,000 | 5,000x | 5,000.00 |
Relax does not publish a volatility rating for the game. The structure tells you what to expect, though: many spins return nothing, and the whole return arrives through one feature.
How a spin works step by step
- Choose your stake, from 0.10 up to 200 per spin.
- The 5x4 reels spin. The rules for the Bonus Reels format say only Bonus symbols, gold special Bonus symbols and blank positions can land; there are no paying symbols.
- If fewer than three bonus symbols land, the spin ends with no win.
- If three or more land anywhere, the Money Cart round starts. Gold special symbols count toward those three.
- The triggering symbols reveal their values, and any gold special symbol among them performs its action before the first respin.
So the rhythm differs from a normal slot. You do not collect small line wins between bonuses. You either trigger the round or you do not, which makes budgeting by number of spins more important than usual.
The Money Cart round
The round is a hold and respin feature rather than classic free spins. You start with 3 spins. Every new symbol that lands stays in place and resets the count to 3. When a reel fills completely, a new reel opens next to the grid, and this can happen twice, so the grid grows from 5x4 to 7x4 with 28 positions in total.
The round ends when the spins run out. At that point the game pays the sum of every value on the reels. Two situations end it early. If all reels are open and every position is filled, the round stops and awards 500 coins, which is 50x your bet. If the sum of all values reaches 50,000 coins, the round stops and pays exactly 50,000 coins, the 5,000x cap.
Every bonus symbol explained
The official symbol cards describe eleven types. Values are in coins, so divide by ten to read them as multiples of your bet.
| Symbol | What it does |
|---|---|
| Bonus | Reveals a value from 1 to 10 coins |
| Golden Bonus | Reveals a value from 20 to 200 coins |
| Payer | Reveals a value and adds it to every other visible symbol |
| Collector | Reveals a value, then adds all visible values to its own |
| Collector/Payer | Collects all other values into itself, then adds its new total to every other symbol |
| Sniper | Reveals a value and doubles 3 to 8 other bonus symbols, and may hit the same one more than once |
| Reset Plus | Reveals a value and raises the spin count you reset to by one, from 3 to 4 |
| Necromancer | Reveals a value and brings 2 to 7 used ordinary Collectors, Payers, Collector/Payers or Snipers back to act again |
| Persistent Payer | Adds its value to all other symbols on that spin and every later spin; it does not pay itself |
| Persistent Collector | Collects all visible values at the end of that spin and every later spin; it does not collect its own value |
| Persistent Sniper | Doubles 3 to 8 other symbols at the end of that spin and every later spin |
Ordinary characters act once. The gold persistent ones act on every remaining spin, and since each new landing resets the counter, a persistent character that arrives early can fire many times. The Sniper is effectively a multiplier aimed at individual symbols, and the Persistent Sniper repeats that doubling spin after spin.
Worked example of a Money Cart round
Take a 1.00 stake, so one coin is worth 0.10. Three Bonus symbols trigger the round with 4, 7 and 10 coins, a total of 21 coins, or 2.10.
- A Payer lands with 5 coins and adds 5 to each of the three: they become 9, 12 and 15. The board now holds 9 + 12 + 15 + 5 = 41 coins. The count resets to 3.
- Two spins later a Sniper lands with 2 coins and doubles three symbols: 9, 12 and 15 become 18, 24 and 30. The board holds 18 + 24 + 30 + 5 + 2 = 79 coins.
- A Collector then lands with 6 coins and adds all 79 visible coins to its own value, so it now shows 85. The other symbols keep their values, so the board totals 79 + 85 = 164 coins.
- Three blank respins follow and the round ends. You are paid 164 coins, which is 16.4x your bet, or 16.40.
Now swap that Collector for a Persistent Collector. It would gather the board again at the end of every later spin, so each extra landing that resets the count adds to a total that keeps compounding. That is how rounds move from double digits into the hundreds or thousands of times your bet.
What the full grid award means in practice
Filling all 28 positions ends the round with a 500 coin award, 50x your bet. That number is a floor for a completely full grid rather than a jackpot. A board full of characters and persistent symbols will usually be worth more than that by the time it fills, and the rules pay the award to close the round.
Money Cart 2 versus the Money Train series
The original Money Cart used a smaller cast, with a Widener symbol that opened reels, and its rules capped wins at 20,000 coins, equal to 2,000x. Money Cart 2 brings in the Money Train 2 characters and lifts the cap to 5,000x. Here is how it compares with the slot it was built from:
| Feature | Money Cart 2 | Money Train 2 |
|---|---|---|
| Base game | None, Bonus Reels only | 5x4, 40 fixed lines with respins |
| RTP | 98.00% | 96.40%, 98.00% on the buy |
| Max win | 5,000x | 50,000x |
| Bonus round grid | 5x4 up to 7x4 | 5x4 up to 7x4 |
| Full grid award | 500 coins, 50x | 500x |
| Stake range | 0.10 to 200 | 0.10 to 20 |
If you enjoy collecting features but prefer line wins between bonuses, the fisherman collect in Big Bass Bonanza offers a simpler take on the same idea.
How to test it in the demo and read the rules
The free demo above is Relax's own fun-mode build with play credits. Use it to learn the symbol cards and to see how often three bonus symbols land at your chosen stake, because that trigger rate decides how fast a real bankroll drains. Then open the rules and check four things: the RTP line (98.00% in the standard build), the win cap line that converts 50,000 coins into 5,000x, the stake limits for your currency, and the coin ratio shown on the counter. Our guide to free demo slots covers what a demo can and cannot tell you.

Frequently asked questions
What is the RTP of Money Cart 2?
The game's configuration and Relax Gaming's client data list a 98.00% RTP. Relax also lists an alternative game ID for the UK, so check the RTP line in the rules screen of the version your operator runs before you play.
What is the max win in Money Cart 2?
The rules cap a round at 50,000 coins and state that this equals 5,000x the selected bet. If the sum of all values on the reels reaches 50,000 coins, the round ends at once and pays the cap.
How do Bonus Reels work in Money Cart 2?
There is no base game with paylines. Every spin lands only bonus symbols, gold special symbols or blanks, and three or more bonus symbols start the Money Cart respin round. Spins with fewer than three bonus symbols pay nothing.
How many coins equal one bet in Money Cart 2?
Ten coins equal one bet. The rules say 50,000 coins equal 5,000x the bet, and the game's counter shows 1 = 1.00 at a 10.00 stake. A Bonus symbol of 1 to 10 coins is therefore worth 0.1x to 1x your bet.
How is Money Cart 2 different from Money Train 2?
Money Cart 2 drops the 40-line base game and plays only for the bonus round. It has a 98.00% RTP against 96.40% and a 5,000x cap against 50,000x, and stakes run from 0.10 to 200 instead of 0.10 to 20.
What happens if the whole grid fills up in Money Cart 2?
Once both extra reels are open and all 28 positions hold a symbol, the round ends and awards 500 coins, which is 50x your bet, according to the rules.
Can I play Money Cart 2 at an online casino?
Yes. Relax Gaming has opened it to all markets except Germany, and stakes run from 0.10 to 200 per spin on the provider's game page. The build and limits depend on your operator, so read the rules screen first.
