Bottom line

This is the Big Bass formula with extra gear bolted on: two collector wilds, base game scatter help and a REPEAT chance able to run a completed bonus again. Fans of the original will settle in fast. Just keep an eye on the bet menu, because three antes and three buys can push your spend well past what you planned.

Plus points
  • 96.50% RTP in normal play, every ante and every buy
  • Bonus opens with 15, 20 or 25 free spins
  • Money symbols go all the way up to 5,000x the total bet
  • Two scatters can still become a trigger in the base game
Watch out for
  • No wilds in the base game, so it lives on line wins
  • Low symbol lines are thinner than in the original
  • Antes and buys exclude each other; an ante costs up to 2.5x a spin, a buy up to 300x

What is new compared with Big Bass Bonanza

Big Bass Football Bonanza joined Pragmatic Play's Big Bass series in 2026. The frame will be familiar from Big Bass Bonanza: 5 reels, 3 rows, 10 fixed paylines, money symbols that pay only once a fisherman wild scoops them up during free spins, plus retriggers that lift the collect multiplier to 2x, 3x and 10x. The additions are:

  • Two wilds. One fisherman wears red, one wears blue, and each colour has its own meter.
  • Longer opening rounds. Three, four or five scatters give 15, 20 or 25 free spins, up from 10, 15 or 20.
  • Higher money values, topping out at 5,000x the total bet.
  • Scatter help in the base game, which can turn two scatters into a trigger.
  • Random bonus modifiers, three antes, three buys and a REPEAT chance.
  • 96.50% RTP in every mode, compared with 96.71% on the original.

Spin basics and the paytable

Each spin is priced at 10 coins, one per line. Wins pay left to right on adjacent reels from reel 1, and each line only pays its highest combination. Money symbols do land in the base game with values printed on them, but no wild shows up there to grab them, so treat them as a preview. The scatter can appear on every reel and is your ticket into the bonus.

The game data gives these line values, shown as multiples of your total bet, plus the five-of-a-kind amount on a ₱20 spin. Symbol names are not in the rules, so we use ranks.

Symbolx2x3x4x5x5 at ₱20
Top premium0.5x5x20x200x₱4,000
Second premium-3x15x100x₱2,000
Third and fourth premium (each)-2x10x50x₱1,000
Fifth premium-1x5x20x₱400
Two upper low symbols (each)-0.2x2.5x10x₱200
Each of the three weakest symbols-0.2x1x5x₱100

The premiums pay exactly what they pay in Big Bass Bonanza. The low end is leaner: a three-symbol line gives 0.2x, ₱4 on a ₱20 bet, instead of 0.5x. On top of that, three low symbols top out at 5x for a full line where the original paid 10x.

When two scatters show up

Land two scatters without a third and the game may help out at random, and it has two methods. If the scatters can slide one row down and stay on the grid, a respin moves those reels down one position while the other reels spin again. The other option simply drops one more scatter onto a random cell after the spin. Neither is guaranteed, but every two-scatter spin has a live chance.

Free spins and the jersey wilds

Three, four or five scatters give 15, 20 or 25 free spins on special reels, and wilds can now land on every reel. Red or blue, each wild stands in for every symbol except the scatter and money symbols, and it collects the value of every money symbol on screen. Money values, all multiples of the total bet, come in three bands: small (2x, 5x, 10x, 15x), medium (20x, 25x, 50x, 100x) and large (200x, 500x, 5,000x).

Wilds go into the meter of their colour and stay there until the round ends. Each fourth wild collected retriggers the bonus with 10 more spins and raises the collect multiplier: 2x, then 3x, then 10x. Once the fourth level is reached, no more retriggers are possible, so 30 bonus spins is the most a round can add.

At the end of a free spin, one of three random modifiers may kick in:

  • Wilds visible but no money symbols: money symbols can be added to random cells.
  • Money symbols visible but no wilds: a podium can lift a random reel to bring wilds onto the screen.
  • Wilds visible but no money symbols: the BASS-ZOOKA can transform every non-wild symbol.

A bonus round in pesos

You bet ₱20 and three scatters open 15 free spins. On spin three a red wild lands next to money symbols of 5x and 15x. It collects 20x, worth ₱400. A few quiet spins follow, more wilds trickle into the meters, and the fourth one triggers a retrigger: 10 more spins and a 2x collect multiplier.

Later a blue wild lands beside money symbols of 10x and 25x. At the 2x level that collect pays (10 + 25) × 2 = 70x, or ₱1,400. Had the same symbols arrived at the 10x level, the payout would be ₱7,000. That gap is why the late levels make or break a round. Collect one 5,000x money symbol, on any level, and the cap is reached right there: ₱100,000 on a ₱20 bet, and the round closes there.

Antes, buys and the REPEAT chance

Three ante bets sit above the normal 10-coin spin:

Bet multiplierCost on a ₱20 baseWhat it adds
15x₱30Extra scatters on the reels, better free spins odds
16x₱32REPEAT chance when free spins end
25x₱50Both the better trigger odds and REPEAT

REPEAT means the game may restart the finished bonus with the same number of starting spins and the same random modifiers, and you keep everything already won. The 5,000x cap is measured on the base bet, so against the raised stake it works out to roughly 3,334x, 3,125x and 2,000x.

Any active ante switches off the bonus buys. With antes off, you can buy free spins for 100x (₱2,000 on ₱20), free spins with REPEAT for 180x (₱3,600) or MEGA free spins for 300x (₱6,000). In the MEGA version, just three wilds of any colour in any meter are enough for each retrigger.

RTP, risk and a demo plan

The RTP reads 96.50% for normal spins, for each ante and for each buy. The provider puts the chance of the 5,000x top win at 1 in 2,544,391 spins in standard play. The rules label the game low volatility, meaning frequent smaller payouts with large wins still possible. Platforms can run other RTP builds, so read the rules screen wherever you play.

In the demo, spin a hundred times in the base game and note how often two scatters bring a helper. Next, buy the 100x round several times and set the results against the 300x MEGA round. Our demo guide lists what to check in the rules before real play, including the peso limits your platform sets. If you want a bigger ceiling, have a look at Big Bass Bonanza 1000.

Questions Filipino players ask

What RTP does Big Bass Football Bonanza have?

It is 96.50% in standard play, with any of the three ante bets and with each of the three buys. Platforms may use other configurations, so check the number in the game's rules screen before you bet.

How many free spins can I get?

Three, four or five scatters give 15, 20 or 25 free spins. Each fourth wild you gather brings 10 extra spins and a higher multiplier. Three retriggers is the maximum, which means up to 30 added spins.

What is the job of the red and blue wilds?

Both only appear in free spins. Each one collects every money symbol value on screen and goes into the meter of its colour. Every fourth wild retriggers the round and steps the multiplier up to 2x, 3x and then 10x.

How much can I win at most?

The cap is 5,000x the bet, so ₱100,000 on a ₱20 spin. The stated odds are 1 in 2,544,391 spins in standard play. A single money symbol can also carry 5,000x the total bet.

What does REPEAT do?

With the 16x or 25x ante, or with the 180x buy, a REPEAT chance appears after free spins. If it lands, the bonus restarts with the same starting spins and modifiers, and every win so far is kept.

Can I buy the bonus and what does it cost in pesos?

Yes, as long as no ante is active. On a ₱20 bet, free spins cost ₱2,000, free spins with REPEAT cost ₱3,600 and MEGA free spins cost ₱6,000. MEGA needs only three wilds per retrigger.

Is real money Big Bass Football Bonanza allowed in the Philippines?

Real money online gaming is regulated by PAGCOR, and you must be 21 or older and use a PAGCOR-licensed platform. With the online gaming rules under review, verify the licence first. The demo is free.
