Why Super Ace plays differently from a line slot

Most slots settle a spin the moment the reels stop. Super Ace does not. A win clears the winning cards, new cards fall into the holes, and if another win appears the game pays it at a higher multiplier. One press of the spin button can therefore turn into four, five or six separate payouts, each one worth more than the last.

JILI published the game in August 2020, and the original still anchors a series that includes Super Ace Deluxe, Super Ace 2 and Super Ace Joker. The official game page lists a maximum win of 10,000x the bet, a volatility rating of low to medium and three features: Free Game, Free Spin and Multiplier. That is the whole official fact sheet. RTP, bet limits and symbol values stay inside the game client, so you read them on the info screen of the version you open.

The board: twenty cards and 1,024 ways

Five reels carry four cards each. Wins are counted as ways, not lines: a symbol on reel one that matches on reel two and reel three, in any row, already makes a win, and every extra matching card on those reels multiplies the number of ways paid. With four rows on five reels you get 4 x 4 x 4 x 4 x 4, which is exactly 1,024. Our guide to lines, ways and clusters shows the arithmetic in more detail.

The cards are the Ace, King, Queen and Jack, plus the four suits: spade, heart, club and diamond. On top of those sit a gold coin Scatter and two Joker Wilds. JILI does not publish symbol payouts outside the client, so the pay values below are illustrative, while the multipliers are the real ones from the game.

A ₱20 spin walked through

Say you play at ₱20 per spin. The whole stake covers all 1,024 ways, so there is nothing to switch on or off.

1. The cards land. Three Queens connect across reels one to three, a small win of ₱6.
2. The Queens are eliminated, and cards above them drop down. This is the tumble mechanic under a different name.
3. The refill lines up four hearts for ₱10. It is the second combo, so it pays at x2: ₱20.
4. Another refill, a ₱4 win, now at x3: ₱12.
5. A fourth combo worth ₱8 raw is paid at x5: ₱40.
6. A fifth combo worth ₱5 raw also pays at x5, because the bar has already reached its top step: ₱25.
7. The next refill brings nothing. The chain ends and the bar resets to x1.

Total for one ₱20 spin: ₱6 + ₱20 + ₱12 + ₱40 + ₱25 = ₱103. Notice that the first hit was the only one paid at face value.

The combo bar in the base game and in Free Games

The bar above the reels is where Super Ace keeps its real value. It has four steps, and every step after the last one repeats the top value. The Free Game ladder is exactly double the base one. You can compare this progressive type with other slot multipliers in our guide.

The lesson from the table: once a chain passes its fourth combo, every extra small win is worth five times its face value in the base game and ten times inside the feature. A long chain of small wins can beat one large single hit.

Golden Cards: wins that leave a Wild behind

Some cards arrive with a gold frame. When a Golden Card is part of a winning combination, it is not simply removed. The game text says it turns into a Wild in the same spot. That new Wild is already sitting on the board when the next refill lands, so it has a head start on forming the following combo.

This is the engine of long chains. A normal win empties space and hopes the refill cooperates; a Golden Card win empties space and plants a substitute at the same time. When you watch the demo, count how often a gold-framed win is followed directly by another combo. It happens often enough that you start to look for gold frames before anything else.

Two Jokers and the stake rule

Super Ace has two Wild Jokers. The smaller blue and green Joker is a standard substitute for the card symbols. The larger red Joker is the showpiece: on JILI's intro screen it spreads copies of itself to other positions, turning several cards into Wilds at once. The number of copies is not published.

There is a condition. The client text ties the red Joker function to a minimum bet. The build we examined states that threshold in New Taiwan dollars, not pesos, so the peso figure is whatever your version shows on its rules screen. If you play very small stakes to stretch a budget, check this first, because below the threshold you are playing without the most powerful symbol in the game.

Getting to the 10 Free Games

Three gold coin Scatters on one spin award 10 Free Games. The layout and symbols stay the same; what changes is the bar, which now runs x2, x4, x6 and x10. Because the ladder doubles, the feature is where a single spin can produce a result worth many base spins. There is no way to buy it and no ante option to make it more frequent. You land the three coins, or you keep spinning.

What JILI confirms and what it leaves to the rules screen

• Confirmed: 5x4 grid, 1,024 ways, 10 Free Games from three Scatters, base ladder x1 to x5, Free Game ladder x2 to x10, maximum win 10,000x, low to medium volatility.
• Not published by JILI: the RTP, the minimum and maximum bet, and symbol payouts.

At ₱20 per spin the 10,000x cap works out to ₱200,000; at ₱5 it is ₱50,000. Treat those as ceilings, not targets. Low to medium volatility means the game leans on frequent small chains, with the big numbers reserved for rare, very long ones.

Playing Super Ace in the Philippines

JILI titles are a regular sight in casino lobbies aimed at Filipino players, and Super Ace is often offered with peso balances. Gaming in the country is regulated by PAGCOR, which licenses operators and sets 21 as the minimum age. Use sites licensed for where you live, and be aware that since 2025 the central bank has told e-wallet apps to remove in-app links to gaming sites, so payment options can differ from one cashier to the next. Check the cashier and the terms before you deposit.

For budgeting, a simple rule is to size the stake at no more than one two-hundredth of your session money. A ₱2,000 session supports ₱10 spins for 200 rounds, enough to see a few Free Game triggers on average without betting everything on one lucky chain.
