What Super Ace is
Super Ace is a JILI video slot published in August 2020, and it has since grown into a whole series with Super Ace Deluxe, Super Ace 2, Super Ace Joker and other spin-offs. The original is the one the rest are measured against. It takes a deck of playing cards, lays them out on five reels with four rows each, and pays on 1,024 ways rather than fixed lines. On its official game page JILI lists three headline numbers: a maximum win of 10,000x the bet, a volatility of "LOW-MED" (two chillies out of five on the loading screen) and three special features, Free Game, Free Spin and Multiplier. What the provider does not list is the RTP, the bet range or a paytable. We only print what the provider confirms, so for those values open the rules screen at the platform you use.
How a spin works, step by step
- You choose your stake. The whole bet covers all 1,024 ways, there are no lines to toggle.
- Twenty cards land on the 5x4 grid. Symbols are the Ace, King, Queen and Jack plus the four suits: spade, heart, club and diamond.
- Matching symbols on adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost reel, form a way win. Every card in the win is eliminated.
- New cards drop into the gaps and the grid is checked again. Each follow-up win is a new "combo" and moves the multiplier bar one step to the right.
- The chain stops when a refill brings no new win. The multiplier bar then resets for the next spin.
This elimination system is what JILI calls consecutive winning. It works like the tumble or cascade mechanic you may know from other slots, except that here the reward for a long chain is baked into a visible multiplier bar above the reels.
Combo multipliers explained
The bar at the top of the screen shows four values. In the base game they read x1, x2, x3 and x5. The first win of a spin is paid at x1, the second consecutive elimination at x2, the third at x3, and the fourth and every one after it at x5. In JILI's own words, getting more combos leads to a higher multiplier. You can read how this compares to other slot multipliers in our guide.
Here is a worked example with illustrative amounts, since the paytable values are only shown in the game. At a 1.00 stake, suppose one spin produces four wins in a row:

Notice that the fourth win was the smallest raw hit after the first but paid the most. That is the whole appeal of Super Ace: the size of an individual win matters less than how long the chain keeps going.
Golden Cards and the two Jokers
Some cards land with a gold frame. These are Golden Cards, and they are the engine that keeps chains alive. JILI's in-game text is simple: after a Golden Card is part of a win, it turns into a Wild in the same place instead of disappearing. That fresh Wild is already in position for the next refill, so a Golden Card win often sets up the following combo.
There are two Wild Jokers. The smaller one, in blue and green, is a standard Wild that substitutes for card symbols. The larger red and gold Joker is the headline symbol: on JILI's intro screen it sends out copies of itself, turning other positions on the grid into Wilds. The game text ties this big Joker function to a minimum stake; the build we checked shows the threshold in New Taiwan dollars, so look up the equivalent in your currency on the rules screen before you assume you have it.
The Scatter is a gold coin marked with a dollar sign. Its job is to open Free Games, and three of them on one spin are enough to do it.
Free Games and the x10 ladder
Land three Scatter coins and you receive 10 Free Games. The layout stays the same, but the multiplier bar doubles: x2, x4, x6 and x10. JILI sums it up as up to a 10x multiplier reward in Free Game. For the general mechanics of free spins and retriggers, see our guide.
Scatters that appear during Free Games can add more rounds, and the provider's own screenshots show extra spins being awarded mid-feature. Golden Cards and both Jokers work exactly as in the base game.
Now take the same four-step chain from the example above and place it in Free Games at a 1.00 stake:
- 0.40 at x2 pays 0.80
- 0.60 at x4 pays 2.40
- 0.30 at x6 pays 1.80
- 0.50 at x10 pays 5.00
The total is 10.00 instead of 5.00. The same board is worth exactly double, and every combo beyond the fourth is paid at x10 rather than x5. This is why a single long chain inside the feature can outweigh dozens of base game spins.
RTP, volatility and max win
Three points are confirmed by JILI. The top prize is 10,000x the bet. The volatility is rated low to medium, which in practice means frequent small eliminations with the occasional long chain rather than long dry spells broken by huge hits. The pay system is 1,024 ways on a 5x4 grid.
The provider's website does not state an RTP. Treat any single RTP figure you see quoted without a source with caution and read the exact value in the rules or info screen of the version in front of you. The same applies to minimum and maximum bets, which depend on the platform and currency.
Is there a bonus buy or an ante bet?
No. None of JILI's official material for Super Ace mentions a feature buy or an ante option, and the Free Games can only be triggered by landing three Scatters. The one stake-related rule to know is the minimum bet for the big red Joker function described above. If you play below that level, the game still runs with Golden Cards and the small Joker, but you give up the symbol that can spread Wilds across the grid.
Who Super Ace suits
Super Ace suits players who enjoy watching a chain build and like a game where the base spins stay lively. The low to medium volatility rating makes it a reasonable choice for longer sessions on a fixed budget. It is less suited to anyone who wants to buy straight into a bonus or who insists on a published RTP before playing. - Watch the multiplier bar during chains so you can see exactly when it moves from x3 to x5.
- Track how often a Golden Card win leaves a Wild that triggers the next combo.
- Count how many spins it takes to see three Scatters, then size your real stake so your budget covers that stretch comfortably.
A sensible approach is to pick a stake that lets you play at least a few hundred spins, set a loss limit and a time limit before you start, and stop when either is reached. No pattern in the eliminations can be predicted, and every spin is independent.
