Fortune Gems 2 arrived in December 2023 as the follow-up to JILI's first Fortune Gems. The provider's description is short: the same easy line play, a higher top prize multiplier and better access to the Lucky Wheel. The series has kept growing since, but this edition is where the fourth reel became the heart of the game.

Official numbers from JILI: a maximum win of 10,000x the bet, a medium volatility rating (two chillies out of five on the loading screen) and three listed features, Full Symbol, Multiplier and Lucky Wheel. The RTP, bet range and symbol values are not published on the provider's website.

Reading the screen

Before your first spin, it helps to know what each part of the layout does:

• The main grid. Three reels, three rows, nine positions filled with gems and a Wild.
• Five fixed lines. They are always active, so you never choose how many to play; the in-game paytable draws each one. Our paylines guide explains fixed lines in general.
• The Special Wheel reel. A fourth, separate reel on the right. Its middle frame shows either a multiplier or a Wheel symbol.
• The EX button. Switches the Extra Bet on and off.

There are no free spins, no cascades and no meters to fill. When the four reels stop, the spin is settled.

What happens between pressing spin and getting paid

1. You set the stake, for example ₱10, and choose whether EX is on.
2. All four reels spin and stop together.
3. The game checks the five lines on the 3x3 grid. The Wild substitutes for gems to complete lines.
4. If the middle of the special reel shows a multiplier, every winning line is multiplied by it.
5. If the middle shows a green or red Wheel symbol, the Lucky Wheel starts instead and pays its prize.

The multiplier reel in peso terms

JILI's client text promises multiplier points up to 15x for each winning link. The values visible on the reel in official screenshots are 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x and 15x, and the EX rules also mention 10x. Take a ₱10 spin where one line wins ₱4 (an illustrative amount, since the paytable lives only in the game). Here is what the special reel does to it:

The same gems can lose you money or pay six times the stake. That is why the swings in Fortune Gems 2 come mostly from the fourth reel. When the gems line up, your eyes should go straight to the middle frame.

Full board wins

JILI advertises great rewards for any full board. If all nine positions show the same symbol, all five lines win together, and the special reel still multiplies the total. One official screenshot shows a grid filled with Wilds and a 15x in the middle frame, ending on a Super Win banner. The exact prize for each full board is listed on the in-game paytable, so check it there rather than guessing.

Lucky Wheel, the bonus that never blanks

A green or red Wheel symbol stopping in the middle of the special reel starts the Lucky Wheel. A large wheel spins over the reels, stops on one segment and pays that prize. JILI's intro says it outright: you win 100% with the Lucky Wheel. There is no empty slice.

Official images show the wheel with small segments next to very large ones, and the segments are not identical across all of JILI's pictures. The wheel you see depends on your stake and mode, so look at it in the version you play. For planning, treat the wheel as the part of the game where the 10,000x ceiling becomes reachable; at ₱10 per spin, that ceiling is ₱100,000.

EX mode: paying 50% more for a 2x floor

The Extra Bet is JILI's take on an ante bet, and the rules are clear:

• It costs an additional 50% of your stake, so a ₱10 spin becomes ₱15.
• The special reel stops showing 1x. Every line win is multiplied by at least 2x.
• Every Lucky Wheel prize gets a random extra multiplier of 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, 10x or 15x.

Back to the ₱4 line win: with EX on, the worst case is 2x, so it pays at least ₱8 instead of ₱4. On the wheel, a ₱300 segment with a 3x extra multiplier pays ₱900; with the maximum 15x it pays ₱4,500.

The certain part is the cost. A ₱1,200 session at ₱5 per spin buys 240 spins with EX off, but only 160 at ₱7.50 with EX on. You give up 80 spins in exchange for a higher floor and wheel multipliers. There is no bonus buy in this game, so EX is the only paid upgrade on offer.

Fortune Gems 2 next to Super Ace

Both games come from JILI and both carry a 10,000x cap, but they reward different habits.

If you like to see a spin decided instantly, Fortune Gems 2 fits. If you enjoy watching a single spin grow through tumbles, Super Ace is closer to your taste.

Budgeting a Fortune Gems 2 session

Fast games burn through money faster than they feel. Four reels, one stop, no animations to wait for: a few hundred spins can pass in a single sitting. That is why the budget matters more here than the choice of mode.

A practical way to set it up is to decide the session total first and the stake second. With ₱1,000 for the session, a ₱5 stake gives you 200 spins in normal mode or about 133 with EX. A ₱20 stake gives you only 50 spins, or about 33 with EX, which is far too few to expect even a single Wheel symbol with any confidence. Medium volatility means results bunch up: a quiet stretch of 1x wins and empty grids can be followed by a 15x or a wheel prize that pays for the whole session, but nothing guarantees when.

• Pick one mode per session and stay with it, so you can compare results honestly.
• Stop at a set loss or after a set time, whichever comes first.
• Treat a large wheel prize as a reason to end the session, not to raise the stake.
