What Big Bass Splash 1000 is
Pragmatic Play announced Big Bass Splash 1000 on December 8, 2025, as the newest member of its supercharged 1000 line. It sits on the same 5x3 grid with 10 paylines as Big Bass Splash, uses the same paytable and keeps the fishing animation that can unlock modifiers before the free spins start. What changes is the math around it: a 25,000x maximum win, a new money fish scale, a premium buy and an ante option.
The official RTP is 96.52%. Pragmatic's demo server lists 96.53% with the ante bet, 96.53% for the standard buy and 96.51% for the super buy. The rules class the game as high volatility.
How a spin works
- Set your total bet. The game pays on 10 fixed lines from left to right, starting on the leftmost reel.
- Line wins are paid. Only the highest win per line counts, and wins on several lines are added together.
- Scatters can trigger the bonus. Three, four or five scatters award 10, 15 or 20 free spins.
- Two scatters get a second chance. When exactly two land, the game may move the scatter reels down one position and respin the others, or a hook may pull a reel up to reveal a third scatter.
The fisherman Wild appears on all reels only during free spins. In the base game you are playing for line wins and, above all, for the trigger.
Converted into multiples of your total bet, the demo server's paytable reads as follows:
| Symbol rank | 5 of a kind | 4 of a kind | 3 of a kind | 2 of a kind |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Top symbol | 200x | 20x | 5x | 0.5x |
| Second symbol | 100x | 15x | 3x | - |
| Third and fourth symbols | 50x | 10x | 2x | - |
| Fifth symbol | 20x | 5x | 1x | - |
| Sixth and seventh symbols | 10x | 2.5x | 0.2x | - |
| Three lowest symbols | 5x | 1x | 0.2x | - |
The modifiers and the free spins round
Before the first free spin, the game randomly picks zero to five modifiers for the round:
- More fish: extra money symbols on the reel strips.
- More fishermen: extra Wilds on the reel strips.
- More dynamites, hooks and bazookas: the random helper features fire more often.
- Start from level 2: the round begins at level 2, with the 2x collection multiplier already active.
- +2 spins: two extra spins at the start and two more on every retrigger.
Inside the round, fish carry money values of 2x, 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x or 1,000x your total bet, and every fisherman Wild collects all of them on screen. Each Wild also counts toward a meter. Every fourth one retriggers 10 more spins and raises the collection multiplier to 2x, then 3x, then 10x. After the fourth level the round cannot retrigger again.
Three helpers appear at random after a spin. Dynamite drops fish when fishermen land with none; a hook pulls a reel up to bring in a fisherman when fish have no collector; a bazooka can replace everything except fishermen with new symbols.
A worked bonus example
Play at a 1.00 total bet. Three scatters give 10 free spins, and the fishing animation unlocks two modifiers: start from level 2 and +2 spins. You begin with 12 spins and a 2x multiplier.
- Spin 3: one fisherman lands with fish of 5x and 10x. That is 15x, doubled to 30.00.
- By spin 8 you have four Wilds. The round retriggers 10 + 2 = 12 spins, and the multiplier rises to 3x.
- Spin 16: a fisherman meets a single 100x fish. At 3x that pays 300.00.
Collections add up to 330.00 on a 1.00 stake, plus any line wins. Swap that 100x fish for a 1,000x one and the same collection would pay 3,000.00, which shows how much of this game's upside sits in that single top value.
Bonus buy, super free spins and the ante bet
Where your operator allows it, there are two bonus buy options and one ante setting:
| Option | Cost | What it changes | RTP on the demo server |
|---|---|---|---|
| Buy free spins | 100x total bet | Starts the bonus with 3, 4 or 5 scatters at random | 96.53% |
| Buy super free spins | 450x total bet | Higher chance of 1,000x money fish | 96.51% |
| Ante bet | Bet multiplier 20 instead of 10 | More scatters on the reels, buys switched off | 96.53% |
The ante setting doubles your stake, so a 1.00 bet becomes 2.00 per spin. The demo server lists the cap as 12,500x while ante is on; because the stake is doubled, that is the same cash ceiling as 25,000x of your base bet. A super buy at 1.00 costs 450.00, so it only makes sense if you have budgeted for several of them in a row.
What changed versus Big Bass Splash
The rules screens and demo servers of both games make the differences easy to pin down:
| Feature | Big Bass Splash | Big Bass Splash 1000 |
|---|---|---|
| RTP | 96.71% | 96.52% |
| Maximum win | 5,000x | 25,000x |
| Money fish values | 2x to 5,000x, with 200x, 500x, 1,666x and 2,500x steps | 2x to 100x, then 1,000x |
| Pre-bonus modifiers | up to five | up to five, same list |
| Buy options | 100x | 100x and 450x super |
| Ante bet | no | yes, double stake |
| Paytable and retrigger ladder | 2x, 3x, 10x | identical |
The trade is clear. The original keeps a higher return and larger fish in the 200x to 5,000x range. The 1000 edition removes those middle steps, pins its upside on the 1,000x fish combined with the 10x level, and raises the cap to match. If you want a premium buy across the series, Big Bass Bonanza 1000 offers the same 100x and 450x pair with a 20,000x cap.
Testing it in the demo
The free demo above runs on Pragmatic's own server, so the rules match the real game. Before you play for money:
- Open the rules and confirm the RTP. Operators can run other builds, and the rules show the one you are on.
- Check the bet limits and whether the buy menu and ante switch are offered on your platform.
- Buy a handful of standard and super rounds in the demo and compare the spread, not just the best result.
- Run a few hundred spins with ante on and off to judge whether the faster trigger rate is worth twice the stake.
The demo server puts the odds of hitting the full cap at about 1 in 3.8 million spins, so plan your stake around ordinary rounds, not the ceiling.

Where to play Big Bass Splash 1000 for real money
Frequently asked questions
What is the RTP of Big Bass Splash 1000?
The official RTP is 96.52%. Pragmatic's demo server lists 96.53% with the ante bet, 96.53% for the standard buy and 96.51% for the super buy. Always check the rules screen, because operators may run a different build.
What is the max win in Big Bass Splash 1000?
The maximum win is 25,000 times your total bet. If a free spins round reaches the cap, it ends immediately, the win is paid and remaining spins are forfeited. With ante on, the cap is listed as 12,500x of the doubled stake.
How much can a money fish pay?
Fish carry values of 2x, 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x or 1,000x the total bet. A fish pays only when a fisherman Wild lands on the same free spin and collects it, multiplied by the current level.
What does the super free spins buy do?
Super free spins cost 450 times your total bet and increase the chance of landing 1,000x money fish during the round. The standard buy costs 100x. Both are available only where the operator allows purchases.
How does the ante bet work?
The ante raises the bet multiplier from 10 to 20, which doubles your stake. In return, more scatters appear on the reels and free spins trigger more often. The bonus buy is switched off while ante is active.
What is the difference between Big Bass Splash and Big Bass Splash 1000?
Both share the 5x3 grid, paytable, modifiers and retrigger ladder. The 1000 edition lifts the cap from 5,000x to 25,000x, caps fish at 1,000x instead of 5,000x, lowers the RTP to 96.52% and adds a 450x super buy and an ante bet.
When was Big Bass Splash 1000 released?
Pragmatic Play announced Big Bass Splash 1000 on December 8, 2025. It followed Big Bass Bonanza 1000 as the next Big Bass title to receive the supercharged 1000 treatment.
