What Fortune of Olympus is

Pragmatic Play released Fortune of Olympus on 15 December 2025 as a new entry in its Greek Gods series, the line that began with Gates of Olympus. Zeus is back, now in a gold filled throne room, but the grid underneath him is new for the series. Instead of a 6x5 board that pays for 8 symbols anywhere, you play on a 7x7 grid where symbols must touch each other to win. If you know Sugar Rush, the shape of the board will look familiar; the multiplier system, however, is pure Olympus.

The key numbers: RTP 96.55%, high volatility according to the in-game rules, and a maximum win of 10,000x your bet. Pragmatic describes the game as feature rich, and that is fair. Beyond the base game and free spins you get two ante bets, two Super Spin modes and two bonus buys.

How a spin works step by step

1. Set the stake. Normal play costs 20 coins per spin, so your total bet is twenty times the coin value.
2. Forty nine symbols land. The grid is seven columns by seven rows.
3. Clusters are found. The game uses cluster pays: 5 or more identical symbols connected horizontally or vertically form a win. Diagonal contact does not count.
4. Winners disappear. Paid symbols are removed, the rest fall and new ones drop in. This tumble repeats until no new cluster forms.
5. Multipliers are collected. Multiplier symbols can land on any spin or tumble and stay on screen until the chain ends.
6. The chain is paid. All cluster wins are added up, all multiplier values on screen are added together, and the total win is multiplied by that sum.

Only the highest win is paid per cluster, and separate clusters in the same drop are added together.

Symbols and paytable

Seven regular symbols pay, plus the scatter. Payouts rise with cluster size, from 5 up to 15 or more connected symbols. The values below come from Pragmatic's game server and are multiples of your total bet. Symbol names are not published in the data, so rows are ranked from top to bottom; the in-game paytable shows the artwork.

The curve is flat at the start and steep at the end. For the top symbol, going from 5 to 9 connected only takes you from 1x to 2.5x, but 13 connected pays 35x and 15 pays 150x. That is why tumbles matter so much: a cascade that adds three or four symbols to an existing color group can multiply the value of that color many times over.

Multiplier symbols in the base game

Multiplier symbols can hit on any spin or tumble, in the base game and in free spins. Each takes one of fifteen values: x2, x3, x4, x5, x6, x8, x10, x12, x15, x20, x25, x50, x100, x250 or x500. Our multipliers guide compares this additive type with others. The rules are simple:

• Multipliers wait until the tumble sequence ends.
• Their values are added: x5 and x20 make x25.
• The sum multiplies the total win of the whole sequence.
• A multiplier on a spin with no cluster win pays nothing.

Worked example at a 1.00 total bet: the first drop forms a 12 symbol cluster of the third ranked symbol for 10.00. The tumble adds an 8 symbol cluster of the sixth ranked symbol for 0.50. During the chain a x5 and a x20 land. The raw total of 10.50 is multiplied by x25, and the spin pays 262.50.

Free spins and the total multiplier

Four, five, six or seven scatters anywhere on the grid trigger 15, 20, 25 or 30 free spins. The same scatter counts during the round add another 15, 20, 25 or 30 spins, so a long round is possible.

In the bonus, every multiplier that hits is added to a total multiplier that lasts for the whole round. Pragmatic's promotional text says the total applies to all wins; the in-game rules say it multiplies the win whenever a new multiplier symbol hits. Read the rules of your build, and use the stricter reading when you estimate a round.

Worked example at a 1.00 bet with that stricter reading:

1. Spin 3: a chain pays 3.00 and a x10 lands. The total becomes x10 and the chain pays 30.00.
2. Spin 8: a chain pays 1.50 and a x4 lands. The total rises to x14 and the chain pays 21.00.
3. Spin 13: a chain pays 5.00 and a x25 lands. The total is now x39, so the chain pays 195.00.

Early multipliers are worth the most because they keep boosting every later hit that brings a fresh multiplier.

Ante bets, Super Spins and bonus buys

Where the jurisdiction allows it, Fortune of Olympus offers four special bets and two buys. Costs below assume a 1.00 base bet.

The game server lists 96.55% RTP for normal play and for every one of these options, so none of them costs you return in theory. What they change is how money moves. An ante bet doubles or septuples your spend for more frequent bonuses; Super Spins turn the base game into a multiplier machine at a steep price; a bonus buy swaps a long wait for one large, very uncertain outcome. Remember that the 10,000x cap is measured against the base bet in every mode.

RTP, volatility and max win

The official RTP is 96.55%. The rules rate the game as high volatility: wins come less often, but big results can arrive in a short span. The top prize is 10,000x the bet. When a round reaches it, the round ends at once and any remaining free spins are forfeited. In normal play the rules estimate the chance of hitting the cap at 1 in 9,746,589 spins.
