1WIN in Canada at a glance
Behind one 1WIN login you get slots, live tables, sports betting and poker, all paid from a single balance. It was founded in 2016 under the FirstBet name and has traded as 1WIN since 2018. In the operator's partner data from September 2026, Canada sits in the main group of working countries, the markets where 1WIN says it runs its best local payment options, together with much of Latin America and Asia. Its site configuration supports more than a hundred account currencies, CAD among them, so balances, stakes and bonus figures can all be shown in Canadian dollars.
Canada is absent from 1WIN's list of barred countries. That alone does not answer whether you should play, because gambling in Canada is governed province by province.
Licence and the rules in your province
Behind the brand stands 1Win N.V., registered in Curaçao under company number 147039 and licensed by the Curaçao Gaming Authority as OGL/2024/587/0621. On the register the regulator published at the end of August 2026, that permit dates from September 2025 and carries the status Assessment in progress. A Cypriot company, MFI Investments Limited, acts as payment agent.
In Canada, the Criminal Code permits gambling that a province conducts and manages. Ontario has an open market of privately registered operators, overseen by the AGCO and iGaming Ontario, and Alberta launched its own licensed market on 13 July 2026. 1WIN is registered in neither. If you live in Ontario or Alberta, this review is not aimed at you, and you should play with a provincially registered site. In the other provinces and the territories the provincial lottery corporation runs the only authorised online casino, and offshore sites like 1WIN sit in a grey area. Should something go wrong, your complaint would go first to 1WIN's own team and after that to the Curaçao authority; no Canadian body would handle it.
The minimum age is 19 in most provinces and 18 in Quebec and Manitoba. Using a VPN or proxy to hide your location breaks 1WIN's rules and can void your winnings, and we will never recommend it.
The welcome package in Canadian dollars
Four deposits, four separate matches, with free spins attached to every step. Choose a crypto account and each percentage goes up. Spins are released after the match bonus of that step has been played. The promotion is scheduled to end on 31 December 2026, one minute before midnight.
| Step | Match on CAD | Match on crypto | Free spins | Bonus from a CA$50 payment (CAD / crypto) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| First deposit | 100% | 130% | 70 | CA$50 / CA$65 |
| Second deposit | 120% | 140% | 100 | CA$60 / CA$70 |
| Third deposit | 130% | 160% | 150 | CA$65 / CA$80 |
| Fourth deposit | 150% | 170% | 180 | CA$75 / CA$85 |
| All four | 500% in total | 600% in total | 500 | CA$250 / CA$300 |
Four deposits of CA$50, CA$200 in all, attract CA$250 of bonus on a CAD account or the equivalent of CA$300 on a crypto account. The 500% is the sum of four separate matches: no single deposit is ever multiplied by five. Scale it up and four deposits of CA$250 bring CA$1,250 on the CAD track.
How the bonus turns into cash
This is where the headline shrinks. When we looked in September 2026, the regular CAD route had no set playthrough number. Instead, bonus money waits in its own wallet and is drip-fed into your withdrawable balance each day, in proportion to what you lost on slots with real money the previous day. Open Bonuses and read the card for today's percentages before you pay anything in.
Several conditions in 1WIN's General Terms cover every casino promotion:
- Cash before bonus. Bonus credit is touched only after your own money runs out.
- No doubling up. You may hold one casino promotion and one sports promotion together, never two from the casino side.
- Unsettled bets freeze it. The bonus wallet stays shut while any real-money wager is still open.
- Look for a cap. Individual promotions may limit how much you can win, and the limit sits in their own rules.
- Spin winnings go back into slots. Whatever free spins pay has to be played through on slots from your main balance.
- Gaming the offer costs you. Second accounts, low-risk hedging, oversized bets on bonus money and stalling rounds on purpose all lead to winnings being removed.
On top of that, 1WIN hands back as much as 30% of the previous week's real-money slot losses each Saturday, landing at midnight Vancouver daylight time (07:00 UTC). That refund needs to be bet through once.
Slots first, crash games close behind
A lobby count from July 2026 found 3,606 titles: roughly 2,800 slots, 910 games in the feature-buy section and 96 live tables. Among the suppliers were Hacksaw, Microgaming, BGaming, Belatra and Booming Games, plus titles from 1WIN's in-house label, and the terms also mention NetEnt. Studios can switch their games off for particular countries, so expect the Canadian lobby to differ from that count. Before you stake real money on a favourite such as Book of Dead or Gates of Olympus, open the game's rules and check which RTP build is installed, since operators can choose between several.
The Quick games tab listed 231 titles in that snapshot. Spribe's Aviator is joined by JetX and Balloon from SmartSoft, a Plinko from BGaming, Pump It from 100HP Gaming and 1WIN's house crash game Lucky Jet. In a crash round the multiplier climbs from 1.00x and only a cash-out before it stops pays: a CA$5 bet taken at 2.00x returns CA$10, while holding out for 10.00x would pay CA$50 and miss much more often. With Aviator's RTP published at 97%, the game holds back around CA$3 per CA$100 wagered over time, no matter when you click. Anyone selling crash predictions is running a scam.
Live dealers come partly from Ezugi. The sportsbook shares your balance under its own rules, which suits hockey and football fans, and a poker room completes the account.
Deposits: Interac, cards and crypto
Interac sits among the payment logos in 1WIN's configuration, next to Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Skrill, AstroPay and MuchBetter. On the crypto side you will find Bitcoin, Ethereum and Tether, and the currency list adds coins like USD Coin, Toncoin, TRON, Dogecoin, BNB and XRP. The operator notes that cashier options vary by country. Canada's place in the main group suggests local methods are offered, yet the only proof is the cashier of a logged-in CAD account. Minimums run at roughly 5 to 10 USD in Canadian dollars by method, with some coins accepting close to 5 USDT.
Two practical points. Many Canadian banks decline card payments to gambling merchants, so Interac or crypto is often the smoother route. With stablecoins, the network you select at 1WIN and the one your wallet sends on have to be identical. Our guide to Interac casinos explains each Canadian payment method and its limits.
Withdrawal times
| Amount | Promised timing |
|---|---|
| Worth 50 USD or less | Within the hour, between 1 and 60 minutes |
| Worth more than 50 USD | No later than 5 days |
| Possible delay at the bank or processor | As much as 3 further business days |
The cashier also wants every deposit staked in full at least once, so CA$100 paid in means CA$100 bet before a payout request opens. Money only goes to accounts registered in your name, and payments to a spouse's or parent's account are turned down. A single win above 50,000 USD may be paid out in daily amounts agreed with you.
Verification with Canadian documents
Registration is quick, by one click or with email and a password. After that, the name, birth date and phone number in your profile have to be genuine and identical to your ID and to the payment account in your name. 1WIN can ask for documents whenever it chooses, and the request usually comes once your combined withdrawals go over 500 USD. Keep these to hand:
- A passport, or another government photo ID such as a driver's licence.
- A utility bill or bank letter showing your address, issued in the past three months.
- Your latest bank or e-wallet statement for the account that funds your deposits.
- If you used a card, a picture of it where everything except the opening six and closing four digits is hidden; covering the security code is allowed.
Scans need to be sharp and in English unless support agrees another language, so a document issued only in French may need a quick check with the team first. Getting verified ahead of your first cash-out stops a balance from being held.
Mobile
Android users install an APK downloaded directly from 1WIN's site. On an iPhone, the guide pins a web version of the site as an icon. Both use the same account and bonuses as the desktop site. Download the APK only from the official site, never from a link shared on social media or in a chat group.
Support and responsible gambling
Help is on hand 24 hours a day. The chat window promises a reply in about two minutes, and Telegram, a phone line and the inbox support@1win.social are the other options. A written complaint receives a decision in no more than four weeks.
For safer play, 1WIN offers a ten-question self-assessment, a self-exclusion lasting a minimum of twelve months that cannot be shortened, and full closure of the account if you want it. Fix a monthly amount you could lose without harm, play crash games in short bursts and never gamble with money meant for rent, groceries or bills. Your province funds free problem gambling help lines if you need to talk to someone.
Our verdict for Canadian players
1WIN treats Canada as a main market: CAD accounts, Interac among its payment logos, a slot lobby with the titles Canadians play most and payouts on small sums inside the hour. The welcome package looks enormous, but because it is released from losses it is worth far less than its face value.
What holds it back is oversight. Curaçao has not finished assessing its licence, and no Canadian province has approved the site. If you are outside Ontario and Alberta and decide to play, check your province's rules, confirm the CAD cashier, verify early and keep deposits modest. See how it stacks up against the rest of our Canada casino ranking.
Questions from Canadian players
Is 1WIN available in Canada?
1WIN's partner data lists Canada in its main group of working countries, and Canada is not on its restricted list. It is an offshore site licensed in Curaçao, not registered in Ontario or Alberta, so players in those provinces should use their provincially registered sites. Elsewhere, check your province's rules.
Can I keep my 1WIN balance in Canadian dollars?
Yes. CAD is one of 1WIN's account currencies. Pick it at registration, because the currency decides your bonus track and usually cannot be changed afterwards.
What is the 1WIN welcome offer worth in CA$?
On a CAD account your four deposits earn matches of 100%, 120%, 130% and 150%, so paying CA$50 each time adds CA$250 of bonus and 500 free spins. The crypto version raises the matches to 130%, 140%, 160% and 170%, about CA$300 on those same payments.
Does 1WIN take Interac?
Interac appears among the payment logos in 1WIN's site configuration, and Canada is in its group of markets with top local methods. The cashier still depends on your country and account, so log in to a CAD account and confirm before depositing.
How quickly does 1WIN pay Canadian players?
Under the General Terms, withdrawals worth up to 50 USD arrive within 1 to 60 minutes and larger ones within five days, with up to three extra business days on the payment side. Before any of that, every deposit has to be bet through once.
What ID does 1WIN ask Canadians for?
Government photo ID such as a passport or driver's licence, a recent bill or bank letter with your address, and a statement from the account that pays your deposits. Card users show the card with all but six leading and four trailing digits hidden. Requests usually follow once withdrawals pass 500 USD.
Can I play Book of Dead and Aviator at 1WIN?
Both types of game are in its lobby: thousands of slots from many studios and a quick games section with Spribe's Aviator, JetX, Plinko and Lucky Jet. Availability can vary by country, so search the lobby, and try our free demos first.
