Sweet Rush Bonanza Guide for Filipino Players

Sweet Rush Bonanza is Pragmatic Play's 2025 hybrid. It keeps the 6x5 grid of Sweet Bonanza, where 8 matching symbols pay anywhere, and borrows the doubling multiplier spots of Sugar Rush, from x2 to x128. In free spins the spots stay put, so the grid grows richer as the round goes on.

Bottom line

This is the freshest idea the Sweet Bonanza grid has seen in a long while. Spots give every tumble chain something to build, and sticky spots turn free spins into a slow climb. The 5,000x ceiling is modest and the Super Spin modes cost a lot, so standard spins give most players the fairest deal.

Plus points
  • Spots double from x2 to x128 and their values add up on one win
  • Marked spots hold for the entire free spins round
  • 96.50% RTP in every mode, antes and buys included
  • Four bet modes and two buys let you choose your risk
Watch out for
  • 5,000x cap is lower than other recent Sweet Bonanza editions
  • Super Spin 2 charges 250x per spin yet keeps the 5,000x cap
  • Scatter prizes are tiny, just 0.10x for four

Before anything else: PAGCOR is the regulator for real money online gaming in the Philippines. Only adults aged 21 and up may play, and only on PAGCOR-licensed platforms. The rules for online gaming are being reviewed in Congress, so check the licence of any site first. The demo here is free and runs on play credits.

Two famous designs in one game

Pragmatic Play released Sweet Rush Bonanza in 2025 by merging two of its biggest hits. From Sweet Bonanza comes the grid: six reels, five rows, and payouts for 8 or more identical symbols anywhere. From Sugar Rush comes the engine: winning positions get marked, and a repeat hit on a marked position becomes a multiplier that keeps doubling. You will not find a single bomb here.

The rules screen tags the game as high volatility. According to the server data, the default return is 96.50%, and it does not move whatever mode you pick.

One spin from start to finish

  1. Choose a base bet. The demo coin list covers 0.20 to 240 units; your platform shows its own peso limits.
  2. Thirty symbols land. Following the pay anywhere rule, any symbol with 8 or more copies pays.
  3. Each cell that held a paying symbol gets a mark.
  4. Winners pop, the rest slide down and new symbols drop in. The tumble repeats while wins keep forming.
  5. If a winning symbol pops on a cell that is already marked, that cell becomes x2. Every further pop there doubles it.
  6. When the screen settles, you are paid. In the base game, all marks and multipliers are wiped at that moment.

Paytable in pesos

Nine symbols pay, and the rules show them only as artwork, so we use ranks. Values are multiples of the base bet; the right-hand column converts 12 or more copies on a ₱20 bet.

Symbol / hits8 or 910 or 1112+12+ at ₱20
Top symbol5x10x50x₱1,000
High 21.25x2.5x15x₱300
High 31x2x10x₱200
High 40.75x1.5x7.5x₱150
Low 10.6x1.25x6.25x₱125
Low 20.5x1x5x₱100
Low 30.4x0.9x4x₱80
Low 40.3x0.75x3x₱60
Low 50.25x0.5x2x₱40

Next to Sweet Bonanza, raw symbol pays are flatter here. Eight top symbols return 5x, not 10x. That value has moved into the spots. Scatters barely pay on their own: on a ₱20 bet, four give ₱2, five give ₱5 and six or more give ₱100.

How the multiplier spots behave

The logic is a direct copy of Sugar Rush. For the wider picture, see our guide to multipliers. On this grid it works like this:

  • The first pop on a cell only marks it.
  • The second pop on that cell sets a x2 multiplier.
  • Every pop after that doubles it again: x4, x8, x16, x32, x64, and finally x128.
  • When one win touches several multiplier cells, their values are added and the total applies to that win.

A base game example on ₱20. The opening drop has 8 Low 2 symbols for ₱10 and marks eight cells. The tumble then brings 10 High 4 symbols for ₱30, and two of them sit on marked cells. Both become x2, the win gets x2 + x2 = x4 and pays ₱120. The spin is worth ₱130 overall, and then every mark disappears.

Free spins where the spots stick

Four or more scatters anywhere give you 10 free spins. Hit four again inside the round and 10 more are added. This is where the game changes character: marks and multipliers stay on the grid until the round is over and keep doubling across spins.

A bonus example on ₱20. By free spin six, one area of the grid holds cells at x32, x8 and x2. A group of 12 High 3 symbols covers all three. The base win is ₱200, the cells add to x42, and the payout is ₱200 × 42 = ₱8,400 from that one win. The flip side: if the strong cells are scattered and no group ever covers them together, the round can still close small.

Ante bet and the two Super Spins

There are four ways to bet. All of them return 96.50%, but the price per spin climbs steeply while the ceiling stays fixed at 5,000x the base bet. Our ante bet and super spins guide covers the concept.

ModeCost on a ₱20 baseEffectCap versus spin cost
Standard₱20Regular play5,000x
Ante bet₱60Three scatters are enough for free spinsabout 1,667x
Super Spin 1₱400Some random cells begin every spin already holding x2 or higher250x
Super Spin 2₱5,000All 30 cells start each spin at x3220x

Read the last column twice. A ₱5,000 Super Spin 2 can never pay more than ₱100,000, which is just 20 times its own price.

Buying the bonus

Where your platform allows a bonus buy, you have two. Regular free spins cost 100x the base bet, ₱2,000 on ₱20. Super free spins cost 500x, ₱10,000 on ₱20, and open with x2 already on every cell. While a buy is active, the ante and both Super Spins are unavailable. Plan your budget so you can absorb several bought rounds that pay less than their price.

RTP and the 5,000x ceiling

The server lists 96.50% for standard play, all three raised modes and both buys. Your ceiling is ₱100,000 on a ₱20 base bet (5,000x), and any round that gets there stops immediately. The rules put the odds of hitting it in standard play at 1 in 1,988,072. Always confirm the build in the rules screen; our RTP explainer shows why it matters.

On the reels it feels more like Sugar Rush than like the game in its name. Pay anywhere wins are easier to read than touching clusters, but value still grows from repeated hits in one zone. If you miss the bombs, the holiday edition Sweet Bonanza Xmas keeps them.

Testing before you spend pesos

Use the demo for 100 standard spins and count how often a marked cell gets hit again before the chain ends. Try a handful of demo buys of each kind and compare what they pay with their 100x and 500x prices. Spend a few demo spins on Super Spin 1 and note the starting multipliers it hands you. On a real platform, open the rules first: RTP, peso bet limits and which modes are enabled. Pick a bet small enough to cover 150 or more standard spins, and fix a loss limit before you start.

Questions Filipino players ask

How do wins work in Sweet Rush Bonanza?

You need 8 or more identical symbols anywhere on the 6x5 grid. Paying symbols pop, new ones drop in, and each paying cell gets marked. A second pop on a marked cell sets x2, and every further pop doubles it, up to x128.

Do the multiplier spots carry over between spins?

Not in the base game, where marks and multipliers are cleared once the tumble chain ends. During free spins they remain until the bonus ends and double further with each new hit.

How many scatters start the free spins?

Four or more scatters give 10 free spins. Another four inside the bonus add 10 spins. With the ante bet switched on, three scatters are enough to start the round.

Is Super Spin 2 worth it?

It costs 250x the base bet, ₱5,000 on a ₱20 base, and every cell starts at x32. The cap is still 5,000x the base bet, only 20 times the price of that spin, so it suits very few budgets.

What RTP does Sweet Rush Bonanza have?

The demo server shows 96.50% for standard play, the ante bet, both Super Spins and both buys. A platform may run a different build, so look at the RTP line on the game's info screen.

What is the biggest possible win?

5,000x the base bet, which is ₱100,000 on ₱20. Standard play odds of reaching it are 1 in 1,988,072 per the rules, and the round stops the moment it does.

Is Sweet Rush Bonanza legal to play for money in the Philippines?

Real money play is overseen by PAGCOR and open only to those 21 and older on PAGCOR-licensed platforms. The online gaming framework is under review, so confirm a site's licence before signing up. The demo is free.
