What changed versus Sugar Rush

If you know the original Sugar Rush, you already know how to play this one. The grid, the cluster rules, the symbols and the paytable are the same. The changes are all at the top end:

In other words, the bonus buy price did not move, but what the bonus can produce did. That is the whole point of the 1000 edition.

How a spin works

Sweets land on a 7x7 grid. Five or more identical symbols connected horizontally or vertically form a cluster; diagonals do not count. Our clusters guide compares this with line and ways slots.

1. Clusters pay as a multiple of your total bet.
2. Every cell in a winning cluster gets marked.
3. The winners are removed and new symbols tumble in.
4. A new win on a marked cell turns it into a x2 multiplier, and every later win there doubles it.
5. The chain continues until no cluster forms. In the base game, marks then reset.

Paytable

Payouts are identical to the original. Values are in multiples of your bet for four key cluster sizes; the in-game paytable lists every size.

The scatter is a candy rocket. It pays nothing on its own and exists to trigger free spins.

Base game example at a 0.20 stake. A cluster of 5 orange hearts pays 0.75x, so 0.15, and marks five cells. The tumble then drops a cluster of 12 green stars that covers two of those marked cells. Each becomes x2, the cluster gets x4, and its 5x base pay of 1.00 becomes 4.00. The spin returns 4.15 in total, and once the chain stops every mark is cleared. In the base game, the 1000 edition plays exactly like the original: multipliers rarely climb far before the reset.

The x1024 multiplier ladder

A cell's multiplier doubles with each win on it: x2, x4, x8, x16, x32, x64, x128, then x256, x512 and finally x1024. Those last three steps are what the 1000 edition adds. When one cluster covers several multiplier cells, the values are added together, as explained in our multipliers guide.

The ladder matters because doubling is steep. A cell at x128 in the original simply stays there. In Sugar Rush 1000 the same cell can gain another x896 of value from three more wins on it. On a grid where several cells are climbing at once, the sum grows very quickly.

Free spins with a worked example

Scatters trigger the free spins round, and the scatter counts and spin awards are listed in the game rules. Inside the round, every mark and multiplier stays for the full duration. That persistence is what lets cells walk up the ladder toward x1024.

Worked example at a 0.40 stake. Late in the round, one area of the grid holds cells at x512, x256 and x64. A cluster of 8 pink lollipops lands across all three. The base pay is 2x the bet, so 0.80. The multipliers add to x512 + x256 + x64 = x832, and the win is 0.80 x 832 = 665.60, which is 1,664 times the stake from one cluster.

Run the same cluster in the original and those cells would be capped at x128 each, giving at most x384 and 307.20. The gap between the two games shows up only when cells get pushed past x128, which takes many wins in the same place. Most bonuses will not get there, which is why results vary so widely.

Bonus buy, volatility and RTP

Where the operator permits it, the bonus buy starts free spins for 100x your bet: 40.00 at a 0.40 stake, 100.00 at 1.00. The price equals the original's, yet the potential payout is far wider, so the spread of outcomes per buy is wider too. Any single buy can return less than it cost.

Which edition should you pick

Choose Sugar Rush 1000 if the free spins round is the reason you play. The base game, the paytable and the bonus buy price are the same as in the original, so what you get is a far higher ceiling when multipliers stack in one area, together with an even wider spread of bonus results. Choose the original if you want the same mechanic with a lower cap and a published 96.50% standard build. • Choose a stake that covers a long session. With a bonus capable of 25,000x and many rounds that finish small, short bankrolls rarely see the upside.
• If you prefer tighter swings, the original with its 5,000x cap is the calmer choice.
